Warm day in Arden Hills. Bethel got some big boys. Johnnie fans taking advantage of open bleachers on the home side.

I'm going to attempt to listen to VOJ & crew while casting the video feed to my TV. Hope they match up! Just not the same listening to other broadcast teams while watching the Johnnies! I hope we're ready!

Had to give up attempting to listen to the Johnnie radio coverage as it's ahead of the feed.

Johns Knees

Been a long time since I recall a Bethel team beating themselves like this. Penalties, turnovers, just general confusion out there.

I saw the last half of the fourth. I had hoped for a big win but didn't expect it. I look forward to watching from the start to see how it all went down.

BU has adjusting to do with a new coach. Hopefully we both win out and Bethel are a one-loss selection to the post season.  And we rematch in the second round.

(Did I look far enough ahead to jinx everything?)

Heh.  The BU announcers need to take themselves less seriously ;). They are easy to listen to.

The Gallagher reference after his pick was a nice touch.

Meanwhile VOJ just complained that he didn't have Mac-Ole score because Mac "didn't have Live Stats working."

Johnnie's looked really good today. Oline was impressive and it's a very balanced offense. Syverson was dealing. Super accurate and poised.

Jung played well, offensive and defensive scores and a forced fumble. Hopefully Devon isn't out for too long. Losing him in the secondary hurt. Biggest issue is we are still settling in on offense (I like a lot of what we are doing) and we didn't hold up against the run.

SJU looks like a legit top 4 team. Syverson can take them on a deep run.

Bethel made some mistakes but SJU beat them today.

Having 2/3 TOP in this heat meant that Bethel D was on the field for a long ol time. I think Johnnie fans can empathize with the struggles of watching an offense not clicking and off the field quickly.

Jung seems destined to be in the DPOY convo if he keeps this up. Kidder broke through a ton of tackles, and Drews proved elusive. Assuming both teams don't stumble and keep on improving this could be another interesting battle at the end of the regular season.
