I flipped through a few when the Tommies were in the league and found a 40.5 average in 2018. This was the Tommie-Ole week a year after 97-0 and I still only put the spread at 50, which the Tommies covered by 10 points.

If his wife's penchant to blame him for every post-menopause ache and heat flash to the same degree my wife blames me, then he's already handicapted.

D.O.C....Sorry to hear about your MACULAR DEGERATION. My wife's 83rd birthday today and we just came home from an appointment with an ophthalmologist. Same diagnosis...macular degeneration. I called her in to my office to read your post and then we continued to read the posts about the temps in MN., furnaces., etc. and laughed through every one. My wife is from ND.  Thanks for the great posts and laughter.
It is 52 here in Puget Sound with a low tonight of 46 and we have had the furnace on for several weeks. We are missing our annual Fall trip to MN to see a couple of BU games and visit our two daughters and families and have opted for a Christmas trip. May have to fly back for the BU - St. John's game on November 16th.

It's a shame UST has a half built arena and now the MN Supreme Court sides with the neighborhood. Interesting to hear what the St. Paul residents on this board have to say about the situation.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Interesting!  It sounds like they are continuing with the construction regardless!  Wonder how that will all shake out.

Non-lawyer type person chiming in - sounds like St. Thomas expects that the environmental impact study will show that there won't really be one, and if something comes up, they'll work to mitigate the issues raised, so why stop building? Reading between the lines it sounds like the neighbors just don't want it, not that they are really trying to work with the university at any level. Wouldn't it be great if there were no changes in life?

Edit: And how does the phrase, "Mind your own damn business" come into play?

MIAC Week 7: Chalk. (This is probably my shortest diatribe concerning weekly play since I started posting, which some here will enjoy.)

Any posters making their way to Northfield to cheer on the Johnnies? Looking forward to making the trek up tomorrow with my wife & daughter. A little over a 4 hour drive for us. Would love to meet anyone if you'll be there!

I have to admit to admiring you hardy MIAC posters. We live in NC and my wife had me turn on our furnace four days ago when the outside temp hit 44 overnight and the inside was 65. In all fairness, though, I didn't argue with her about it.

Good morning posters & Johnnie faithful! Hoping to hit the road by 7:00 this morning to make it up to Northfield. Looks like it should be a beautiful day! Go Johnnies!

I've been laughing about these comments for a couple days.
