I'm guessing the committee just decided a one loss Coe hosts a two loss Bethel.

Tbh it doesn't seem like the committee put much thought or creativity into the bracket. Let's group the Texas teams, NWC/SCIAC, overload one side with all the good Region 5 and 6 teams, etc.

Given they didn't have to actually make any selections I was hoping we'd see a little more intentionality put into things.

NCAA screwed up. Expect announcement this AM correcting their error and Bethel will host Coe since Bethel was lower seed.

I always defer to Massey for Northwestern games, but I'm sure we'll come out firing.

It's amusing that playoff tix prices are cheaper than SJU's regular season tix prices. :)

Wondering how they missed it in the first place ... also grateful Pat/D3fb and whoever else was involved were on top of getting it straightened out quickly. Also glad they agreed to fix it and didn't just say, oopsie, but you still go to Coe. If I'm Coe, I'm very annoyed  :o

I don't know if we can take credit for it, but I will say we also made a behind-the-scenes inquiry on it as well, not just relying on our coverage on the site or the pod to make our point.

You had a hand in getting a score corrected during a BU playoff game at one point, correct?  Where they only credited BU for 1 pt. when they had blocked a PAT and returned it all the way?

You're well on your way to an honorary degree, if you're not careful...

Yeah. That was a playoff game, right? I'd forgotten about that.

I'd settle for a seat in the actual press box this week and maybe just tell other Bethel fans that unlike what they've heard, D3sports.com doesn't actually have it out for Bethel.

Same fate that befell NCC last year. Still likely they'll make it through (as NCC did) but the question becomes how healthy they are at each subsequent step. By the time NCC got to the Stagg their AA DE and CB were shells of themselves.

Here's hoping both SJU and NCC are healthy if they meet in the Semis, would be a fun matchup!
You win! You always do!
