Quote from: DuffMan on November 29, 2024, 02:59:40 PMI hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!  Now, onto playoff football.
Johnnies haven't advanced past the second round since the 2019 run to the semifinals. Gary and the staff need at least 2 wins during these playoffs. The weather and our dependence on the passing game has me concerned. I'll leave it at that and do my best to remain optimistic.

Tis was the night before the Johnnie game and all through house not a creature was stirring not even a Syverson...there a arose such a clatter, I threw open the sash and what to my wondering eyes should appear but Dylan Wheeler and a TD. Merry Johnnie win to all and to all a good night.

Temperature at game time in Collegeville +9*F, with a "feels like temperature" of -5*F.

That's cold enough to freeze the nuts off a John Deere plow  :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Brr!  Stay warm, fellas!  I'll be in the Minnetonka High School gym all day, but I'd definitely smuggle a heater into Clemens if I were able to go today.

A tradition unrivaled...

Whoever is able to hold onto and run the ball will come out on top today.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear is going ****ing old school third person for today's game. IB says let's ****ing go Baptist Royals! Big W today with tough D and great execution on O! He feels this is a game the Royals should win with hopes to surprise next week. I've will be watching while eating some deep fried seal today!
A long time fan of DIII Football!

Balmy day in Collegeville. Slight breeze that shouldn't impact the passing attack. Aaron gonna have to keep throws below the helmet and receivers gonna have to catch the fast ones.

A happy belated Thanksgiving to each of you that provide so much enjoyment throughout the season by posting banter & insights on this board! I'm hoping that we can add a Johnnie win today as one more thing to be thankful for!

Apparently the MIAC & ARC are better than the WIAC! Wartburg defeated UW-Platteville & will face Bethel.

Bad weekend to be a cheesehead. Gophers take the Axe and both WIAC teams get bounced. Good riddance! Reports after the game from the players was the UWL was the cheapest team they ever played including spitting on SJU players.

I had a sense watching online that they were baiting our guys. Good job not getting sucked into it.

Yeah, they seemed chippy. On one of the last kickoffs, a LAX special teamer grabbed a Johnnie facemask and twisted it well after the play was over.

So if we get past Susquehanna, it's a rematch with either Bethel or Wartburg?
