Both teams lost to Susquehanna in back to back weeks by similar margins at the end of the games, so that seems pretty even in my mind, putting them lower than the River Hawks, whatever the final results end up being.

IMHO SJU should be ahead of the beloved Baptist Royals.
A long time fan of DIII Football!

It used to be that players transferring from DIII to DI had to sit out a year, but not vice versa (with the exception of grad students). I assume in this new age of college football thats no longer the case, and DIII kids are immediately eligible?

The only restriction that remains is that a student must be academically eligible to compete at the school they are going to or they need to sit out like any other student at that school.  Otherwise, transfer away.

(How long until players are bringing sponsorships with them like race car drivers?  John "Granite Logistics" Doe bringing the big bucks.  Or worse, someone like Paul Menard getting a prime Nascar drive for years off the business sponsorship.)

Interesting list of schools that have offered Jung......guessing Wake Forest will offer soon with the Wazzau coach heading there.  Surprised that NDSU hasn't been listed yet given the family ties.

The officiating during last week's playoff games was a continuation of what I saw as very poor during the season...brutal on field mechanics, bizarre rules interpretations and a level of arrogance that scares me as a fan.  I hope the Officiating supervisors in the various conferences take a hard look at expecting better and more from their guys...the teams deserve it.

How does one measure arrogance in officiating while watching on TV/screen?

Good for him, but man this stinks. I continue to absolutely detest the portal...detest it.

Hate to see him go - happy for him though.  If I were in his shoes, it would be difficult to not want to play as high as I could.

I dislike the impact of NIL more than I dislike the portal - I realize they're linked.  I don't mind the portal in that I think it's not reasonable to hold a kid to a decision that they made at 17 or 18 (heck maybe 16), when circumstances can change a lot by the time they're 20 - I like that there is some mobility for players - since there is plenty of mobility for coaches.

Pat,

My comment regarding arrogance in Officiating was made in the context of the games I watched both in person and on TV during this season.  Officials often would huddle for several minutes only to emerge with a call that was controversial, at best, or a blatant misapplication of a rule and act as though the teams/players impacted had no grounds to question them or seek clarification......this occurred in favor of my teams, against my teams and for and against teams I have no rooting interest in.  It's just a problem that I hope can be addressed.

99.9% of the officials I've encountered have arrogance levels off the charts....

Looks like Jung has offers from Iowa State and Wisconsin now. Good for that guy.

The similarities between Jung and Koi Perich are stunning. Tough return guy, ballhawk in secondary and wildcard on offense.

Not saying he's at the same level or that he will have similar success, but it'll be fun to follow his career. Wish that kid nothing but the best.

I bumped into both Hayden Sanders and Jeremy Hood at a wrestling meet last night.  Johnnie defense was well represented!
