The future schedules for 25 and 26 have been available for all teams on the MIAC site for some time......minus the non-conference elements.

Tried to copy and paste and it didnt format correctly.  Here is the link

Speaking of schedules, Lamker and Augsburg will be doing an interesting experiment. As if firing his OC and taking over playcalling duties wasn't enough, he's also going to be the HC at Osseo HS this fall.  :o

Yes, you read that correctly. The plan is that Augsburg will practice in the morning (coaches expected to be available in the am from 6-10ish) and then evidently he'll do standard afternoon practices at Osseo. This seems like utter insanity to me. But especially at two programs that aren't exactly resource rich. If you had massive FT coaching staffs like a Wayzata or SJU to help make this happen, it would still seem insane. Is this Lamker working on a soft landing for if he gets the ax at Auggie?? Honestly scratching my head on this one.

That is wild.  I can't see how that will be a good situation for him, Osseo, or Augsburg.

Osseo has been terrible for several years.  And Auggie Tech...  I can't imagine this will help either program.  If I see Lamker in the 'hood, I'll ask him about it, espicially if I have some SJU and Maple Grove gear on :).

Looks like Lamker has already updated his own wikipedia page to announce the dual coaching role.  ;D

Johnnies and the Scots meeting for the first time in 24 years. Probably going to be SJU's homecoming game as it falls in mid-October.

IIRC SJU is still looking for a non-con opponent. UWLax has a week 1 opening, anyone know if the schools have talked about filling both their needs?

Always great to read an article written by Frank!

So what is SJU's NIL budget? And has anyone ever discussed how that jives with Gags "Winning with No's" (aka no scholarships)?  ;)  8-)

No article to link to, but it sounds like Bethel has had a great offseason recruiting as well. Around 50 in the incoming class (their largest ever) that will require an expansion of the locker room. Should be fun to see who reloads best/fastest!

I was 45 at that time.  8-)

Unless it is homecoming I may pass.  I really don't enjoy blow outs.

I understand that with NIL and the portal it seems like all the rules in NCAA are kind of out the window. That said I don't see how a college coach can also be a high school coach of potential recruits. Just seems weird to me. Also if I'm the person in charge of cutting the check for those positions I might wonder how this is going to work. It's not like coaching his son's 12U baseball team and his daughter's 14U softball team at the same time.

Rumor is that the Lamker announcement was made on April 1st.  ::)

Was listening to the latest podcast while catching up on the posts here.

Go Hawks!

So it seems apparent that the MIAC is letting teams schedule their one non-con game in the first two weeks of the season. Also noticed the championship games start at noon while adding it to my fall calendar. Anybody know off-hand where to find out which teams will be hosting?  Inquiring minds are curious.

Very busy this time of year getting rockets into the air with the BU Rocket Club. Also, the company I worked for was bought out. I got to keep my job with no real changes - so, very grateful for that.
