Back home from Boulder. Enjoyed the Colorado - Kansas game. Fortunate for the Buffaloes they were not playing the Johnnies yesterday.

Aug1998, will the wrestling coach also be keeping Marcus off the Auggie Tech wrestling team this season?

The first ever "Um Ya Ya" Stiftungsfestivities will be held this coming Saturday in Collegeville starting at 10:00 a.m. Oles are cordially invited, as long as they bring some adult beverages along from Dundas.

OAS - The UM of Morris incident occurred because it was the last home game on their current field.  A new stadium is being built next year for them.  It was also homecoming and a HUGE game against Crown.

I never understood why the goalposts ever come down at a stadium for any reason but to repair or repaint them and now hopefully more students/fans will feel the same way.

Does anyone recall how many thousands of dollars the Iowa Hawkeyes agreed to pay the U of M when their fans took down the goalposts at the dome a few years back?  I thought the amount of damage was around 10 grand.

The UM of Morris incident reminded me of that college in Texas where they get a crane and make a huge bonfire out of large trees for their homecoming.  Then the logs collapsed and numerous students were killed or hurt.  I wonder what their tradition is today.
Go Johnnies!!!

The new top 25 is a little bit of a shake up. I figured SJU would be #3, but didn't
think they would  leap frog Rowan, and certainly didn't see UWW leap frogging both SJU and Rowan.

Johnnie Red-  I highly doubt that, he has how many consecutive wins and he is a senior...easily one of the best wrestlers in the country right now..i dont see the wrestling coach suspending him...but it could happen i suppose...

That is impressive to me.  I like it when a poll committee isn't scared to shake things up even when teams don't lose.  It shows me they are really looking at the games.
