& evidently he got is computer fixed.
What kind of chance does Oxy have this week?

SJUGator

I don't think Oxy has a chance-it's too bad bc if they were in the east they would probably win it.

What's with the Monmouth guys?  Lots of big talkin'

Touchdown Tommy

Gator,

You know the routine.  It happens every time there is a "big" game.  UWEC (blugold45), BU (Freebird, Mighty Royal, etc.), Cord (Sofa King), Olaf (Wahoo3, OleFan), UST (they don't even care).  The posters come yappin' (oh Johnnies are in trouble this year, yadda yadda) then leave with their tails between their legs.  Monmouth doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning on Saturday in their 1st ever playoff appearance.

You are such a racist for leaving him out ;D

Would have personally liked to have seen a Liberty League/johns matchup this year.
Haven't researched if you've ever met but the board would be Cybersign Theatre.

Coe hasn't given up more than 21 points all year. If Concordia puts up 35 I'll eat my hat. Coe is 1-1 in games in which it scored a season-low 14. If Concordia holds them to 14 I'll eat your hat. The St. Thomas game doesn't really illustrate what this Kohawk team brings, although that last minute win kind of set the stage for the season. Bring your lunch because I think this is going to be a classic game. I'll fast just in case I have to eat hats.
4 IIAC football championships
8 NCAA football playoff appearances
13 straight wins over Cornell in the oldest football rivalry west of the Mississippi

Dens,

In the fall of 2003, the mighty clash of the titans that you speak of materialized both on these boards and on the field in Collegeville. These events occured the week after SJU helped Linfield find the doubt that they were trying not to leave.

I cannot recall much of that week aside from checking PP every half hour and avoiding studying for finals, but I know that the matchup on the field paled in comparison to the battle that raged on these hallowed boards. The only thing I do remember is walking home from class past the RPI bus unloading their players in jeans and a t-shirt while their players complained about the 15 degree temps. Fortunately, I had much more insulation then than I do now.

That was the week that the MIAC learned of MonkeyStomps, Irish Car bombs, EngiNegro's, and other important things that the MIAC had sadly lived without for many moons.

Charlie,
Will said eating of hats be televised or at least recorded for posterity sake?

SUMMIT!!!!!

CW-
Based on what I saw of Coe, they'd finish 4th or 5th in the MIAC. But for bonehead playcalling and turnovers, UST should have monkeystomped them. Considering that Cord monkeystomped UST, I think its a safe assumption that COe will be one-and-done.

Will you be having ketchup, mayo or jelly on that hat?

The perfect ending to the West Region would be Cobber at Johnnie: The Rematch. Consider this my prediction of that coming to be, unless the NC$$ sends UWW to Linfield 2nd round and has the MN boys sllug it out
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Better bring some hat sauce, just in case.

"In all, Gagliardi has coached college football for 57 years, which ties him with another legendary coach, Amos Alonzo Stagg, for the most years of service in the history of college football. Monmouth did not fare well in its game against Stagg's University of Chicago team in 1903, losing 108-0 ."

What is 108 to 0 in monkeystomps???? :(
