Stats from Moorhead:  Cobbers 347 yds rushing, Coe had 47 yds on 27 carries.  Northern had 40 of them.  Coe had 47 yds of total offense in 2nd half.  Looks like the Cobbs will meet the Cats next week.

Looks like Elliot had a good game 7 TDs.  Nice work.  But I still think that Blake Elliot is better of the two Elliots.  Good game for the johnnies, good win and good luck against UWW.  What happened to the injured Scot everyone is talking about?

Nation,

Enjoy the win today but you're not playing Coe next week.  Maybe instead of sinking money into coming out to the Pac NW you could make a trip down to Naples, Fl. and visit Touchdown Tommy at the YMCA.  At least in visiting with TT you will feel better about your life.

Lot's of Money Stomping in the first round--- about half the games were blow outs. See SJU and Linfield had tops 63 points. Cobbers will need to hold on to the ball for about 50 minutes next week. Probably no teams with such different games that Cobbers and Linfield. As much as I would like to see the Cobbers win I think their secondary will not be up to it. If they can get a muddy field with a 50 mph cross wind then it would even things up.

Props to Veek on taking me down, but he didn't participate in rounds 1-3, so I guess his stomach was a little emptier than mine ;D

Scottie, I guess I was right.

Bring on the Womens' Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Damnit, Central, why do you make me have to drive to Whitewater?

Oh, one more thought:

Yes, sir, WW is going to see some funky game tape, that's for sure. The best part? Even if they find some game film that's more indicative of a "typical" Johnnie offense and defense, John and crew are already cooking up new formations, plays, and strategies that no one has seen before. Man, I love this team.

GO JOHNNIES!

Yeah you can plan and watch all the game tape in the world but it all comes down to executing on the field.

Which is why 95% of the time spent at practice is spent running plays. Execution is first on the list. Bring on the purple! I hate purple [college] teams!

Oooh, that reminds me. There's another Minnesota-Wisconsin clash coming up. That'll make for some fun banter, too. Nice!
Nice day, huh?

Are we now officially a quick strike offense?
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

What other MIAC teams would have taken Monmouth- BU, STO,STU, CORD,  GAC others?? :o

KR, that's pretty indicative of, well, everything. We blocked well, they didn't tackle well (or at all, really), and we won. If it wasn't for the 2 INTs and the 3 injuries, it was a perfect game for the Johnnies.
Nice day, huh?

TRU, I find it hard to believe that a 10-0 team in any conference is 62-3 bad. Then again, we could just be that good this year :P Regardless, I'd put MC in the middle of the pack for the MIAC. STO and MC would have been a good game, as they seemed like pretty similar teams. Both liked quick passes across the middle (and outs) and tried to finesse their way on each side of the ball. CC would have smashed 'em with their running game. I'm not sure about the others, though. I'd bet they'd have lost at least 3 MIAC games were they in our conference. That's just a guess, though.

I  believe these are what everyone has been waiting for ;D

Shotgun 1
Shotgun 2

Quicktime [possibly] required. I'm a Mac user and ya'll are going to have to live with it. They're MPEGs, though, so WMP might play 'em.
