TRU

I second that good movies. However you need to us a Darwin Stubby a 32 ounce wide mouth bottle.  ;D

Can't wait to see the Cobbers at the CatDome. From what I understand Concordia should have beat SJU this season but had a breakdown in the last few seconds to give the game away. So they must be pretty darn good! SJU will have no problem next weak against a big slow and fat UW-WW team, at least that's what all the Johnnies have been telling me.  :-*

BumFighter

Update: Just woke up from my two hour drunken nap.

SJU still wins by 59.

And I thought it was a dream.....

Even my pessimistic roommate can say we are deec. (Ask Shoes how pessimistic he really is)

Tru,
You may as well stay home if you are awaiting a "muddy" field at the Catdome---the new field turf does not contain mud for the Cobbers!  No more Miracles in the Mud!

The Catdome Awaits!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

TRU

No mud that's too bad >:( but what about a 50 mph cross wind.   8)

Tom Brady

Is that really a woman shot-gunning a beer in front of a bunch of kids????  Damn, I need to go to a game there ;D

TRU,

Weather report for next Saturday is calling for 52 degrees and a 30% chance of some rain showers.....in other words the weather shouldn't be a factor next week.

TRU

Wildcat that's too bad the Cobbers would like it about 15 degrees with a gale force wind. That would even the odds up a bit. Who knows maybe the Cobbers won't give you the ball?  ;D

Yea, I'm pretty sure the Cobbers & the Johnnies will both save the NCAA the travel dollars and just not show at all. I mean, the Wildcats have, well, the Elliott kid and the WarHawks have, well, big stinky linemen that are big and stinky and the Cobbers only have a 1940's "O" and the Johnnies only have a really old coach who the game has passed by so the MIAC teams will just stay at home with their families over Thanksgiving and overeat ;)

What do you think K.R.,did they buy it ???
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Johnie fans,

Haven't got to see you guys play and am not saying this to put any fear in you.
Whitewaters D is for real.  Those guys hit run and flow to the ball.  I'm sure you guys to.  It should be a great game.  Wish I could be there but I have a grandsons B-day party to go to now that we lost.  Good luck for your next game sure was hoping that it could have been us so I could see what you guys are talking about.

They work fine as long as you have QT installed (I do here at the parentals house).

Photos are up.

I  believe these are what everyone has been waiting for ;D

Shotgun 1
Shotgun 2

Quicktime [possibly] required. I'm a Mac user and ya'll are going to have to live with it. They're MPEGs, though, so WMP might play 'em.

SJU stats of the day... Here are the number of plays and time of possession for our scoring drives:
3 plays 38 seconds
4 plays 2:00
3 plays 1:35
1 play 0:08
2 plays 0:53
1 play 0:08
2 plays 0:13
4 plays 1:32
3 plays 1:24

Are we now officially a quick strike offense?

That's impressive. I'm actually considering not going to the Linfield Cobber game next week, a 54 mile drive, to stay home and listen to the St. John's Warhawk game.  I would not miss the game the following week at the Catdome for anything.

I'd love to see ythe Johnnies get it done next week.  As you all know Linfield want's a piece of you and we'll have to see if this is our year to get it.

Buffer or anyone else:

Any more info on the Monmouth kid?

I'd like to know, too. It was downright scary the way he was lying on the ground.

The last thing I heard, which was a direct question to the Health and Safety medic on the field, was that he had regained feeling in his legs before they took him to the St Cloud hospital. If I get really bored here (don't ask) I might give a call to the hospital and see if I can get an update from them. Otherwise someone might want to contact the group on campus tomorrow to see if there's an update.

The medic said "really bad concussion" which would account for the paralysis and seizure.

I pray he comes out of this without a hitch. That was a scary moment on the sidelines.
