Is TDT a former Johnnie?

By name, not by association.

In truth, there is no such thing as a former Johnnie. It's kind of like being a Marine, even after you graduate, you are still considered a Johnnie until the day you die... unless you attend law school at, or have a child who attends UST.

Using that analogy TDT is a Johnnie kind of like Drew Carey is a Marine.

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

The Fargo Forum Reported today that Concordia got a commitment from Fargo South wide receiver Evan Savangeau. 6'2 185   Caught 45 for 1000+ yards and 11TDs.  This is a great get for Horan and the Cobbs as UND and NDSU were among his final choices.  This might be a kid who can step in right away next year and fill some of the void that was left in the Cobber receiving corp when Passanante and Reile left.

RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:
"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

I thought I'd soften TDT's return by returning myself.

FrankR, I think the LV Gladiators are sponsored by Bud.  You should probably come out here on the company tab and make some changes.

The only downside I see to living in Vegas is that I dont think there will be any DIII football tailgating anywhere close.  Guess it'll just be me drinking a 40 on my driveway, wishing Veek's fully-stocked ride was in sight.

If anyone needs a ticket or two to a LV Gladiators arena ftbl game, let me know, I'll hook ya up
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

For a good laugh, check out this article that Wildcat11 sent me.  This guy is an idiot (not WC11 ;)).

I don't know if I'd say hated.  He's more like a red-headed step-child.  We just love to pick on him.

Hey Duff did you notice that the sports writer was a cross country runner.

I can't believe he was allowed to run that story

MongolianWarrior

Duffman--Let's be a little PC here.  By red-headed-step-child you mean a "ginger".  And if south park has taught us anything, it's that gingers are to be feared and not as loved as normal people.

In other news, apparently the greatness of Hamms has not made its way to Las Vegas.  Therefore, I cry myself to sleep every night.

Mongo - You need to bring some tips back to GAC. Strippers during pregame? Pole dancers as cheerleaders? Be creative here and make it happen!

I can't believe that story was allowed to run. Who needs TDT when you have idiots like that guy typing for all to see?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

DuffMan

Willy, didn't you once write a story about dance not being a sport?  Maybe a runner doesn't understand football like you don't understand dance :D

Honestly, who allows a CC runner to become a sports editor, anyways?

Duffy - I could care less about dance and prefaced my column with a statement along those lines. My "dance is not a sport" piece was actually very well received - one of the coaches agreed with me and we had a big conversation about it afterwards.

Needless to say, the other one was pissed that I had the gall to print such a thought. But screw her, right? :)

Has anyone thought about how bad D3 football is?  I once saw a guy throw an incomplete pass in a game and I just walked out.  It was terrible...yeah, I've had 4 beers since work got done...gotta work at Sals tonight.
