From what I understand it is Rodel's job unless Nelson comes out and really wows the coaches in the fall. After watching him in mop up duty this season, I am convinced that he is gonna be a really good QB, maybe not this year, but definitely the year after.

Was Rodel taking his fair share of snaps the last couple of years?

What? You fly in, they bus you up to C'ville, then you're on your own to find a place to stay? Surely my alma mater is a better host than that?
(See, KR? They need the Sag Hotel!)

I think what the Admissions Office recommended was Country Inn and Suites - West.  And we're renting a car anyway, so we're taking a pass on the Indian Casino bus and the All the Hamms You Can Drink offer.

That's a reasonable place (http://www.countryinns.com/stcloudmn_west)
as is the aforementioned place in St. Joe, or the Comfort Inn in St. Cloud/Waite Park that is conveniently connected to Old Chicago Bar/Restaurant.

More weapons for the Johnnies.
Wooderson must be keeping the Albany/SJU pipeline greased, although the kid looks like he was destined to go to SJU since birth.

Where has TDT been?  I had to go back to Friday to find a post so that I could smite him! :D

Here's my review of Bock Fest:

Most of your day is spent waiting in lines for beer or food or both.  Schell's is a nice place for a brewery.  Beer prices are very reasonable--$2 a beer and you can buy a bunch at one time.  Things I would avoid 1)doing a keg stand off of a keg of Leinies Original at 9 a.m. on a bus beforehand and 2)swilling off a bottle of Seagrams on your way back, sending you off into unconciousness.  It was a rough weekend for Duffman, but he survived.

I think that he continued to take a good percentage of snaps with the 1st team last year, so he should be able to step in without much rust.

Well, it finally happened.  Karma Power is MINE :o

We got there at about 10:50 and the first 2 beers we got we had no wait in line.  AFter that, lines went about 20 minutes, so we cycled from beer line, to food line, to bathroom line and then back to beer line.  I talked to one dude who got a cooler or something and he bought 64 beers at a time for his group.  Something to think about for the next time.

Given the addition of your new super powers - are you still going to be the same, down-to-earth guy?

Maroon&Gold will have his people get in touch with you about your quandary.  In the future please refrain from ever questioning Maroon&Gold about anything, as it shows bad form

I just logged on for the first time since Friday and the first thing I notice is that TDT has 666 posts.

Hmmmm.....

There is a nice article in the PP (actually, a reprint from the Chicago Tribune) about D-3 athletics.  Worth a read, but nothing MIAC related.
