Gusties must either be hurting, or not too key on their recruiting as one of the kids on my track team got a letter from them today....funny thing is, kid didn't even play football!

JR, I am thinking no on the Gusties improvement this year....

Permission to post a joke for which I will likely go to hell?

I do hope the Gusties improve this season.

You aren't the only one, brotha. The Gusties haven't had a winning season since Frank Rickard graduated and I pulled a Timmy Duncan — going all ghetto because of lame foot injuries.

Coincidence? I think not.

Solution? We'll bring back the glory days with one more year of eligibility. Oh wait, I already have one at my disposal. I can hear the Keating chants now...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Obviously permission is granted, especially since you're already going to hell for the previously told Catholic jokes not to mention for all the times you came to work at Sexton drunk ;D
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Just looking for the go-ahead.  As a Lutheran, I obviously don't like hitting the Catholic sore spots... ;D

God is sitting up in Heaven, tired and worn out. He's had enough of the pressures and stresses of being the number one, so he's decided to take a holiday. He calls all his mates together to discuss a few suggestions.

St. Peter, thinking, nods his head, then says, "How about Mars? It's nice and warm there this time of year." God shakes His head before answering, "Nah I went there 15,000 years ago. It was sh*tty, no atmosphere and too dusty."

"What about Pluto?" suggests another. "No way!" God mutters. "I went there 10,000 years ago. F-ing freezing it was too."

"What about Mercury?" says another. "Are you kidding?" says God. "I went there 5,000 years ago, I nearly burnt my balls off it was that hot, never again."

"I've got it," says St. Peter, his face lighting up. "How about going down to Earth for your vacation?"

"You must be joking," says God, chuckling, "I went there 2,000 years ago, knocked up some Jewish chick, and they're STILL  talking about it."

The players should be used to playing without a ball. Their last game, they didn't have one very much, and when they did, they dropped it like it was a hot coal, time after time after ........

Almost sucked coffee up my nose laughing at this one!!! ;D ;D
Sorry, boys, but you got to admit, this was clever and I know no one appreciates a good laugh better than the boys on the MIAC Board!!! ;) ;) ;)

Presumably you also appreciated KR's response.

This is true, nobody is an expert in playing with balls like the WIAC.

;D

Ritzy,

Hope you are doing well in your recovery.  Have u increased your Hamm's intake yet?  Keep us posted.  Also, FYI: TDT was not the one who asked about the expected MIAC finish this season.  I think it goes without saying that the Johnnies will be in 1st place and OAS will pick Bethel or Concordia in his preview predictions.

I spoke with OAS the other day.  He guarantees Mac will NOT lose an MIAC game this
year.

Do you realize what you're saying??  Last I recall, the Bennies of Safe Lifety weren't exactly calendar girl material...

Did I say anything about Bennies?

Fins,

Garnet recommends you use the LLPP security force.

Looks good Garnet! Assuming they can make it through the Finsleft oral interview, they're hired.

Whoa Nelly, this year the Gophers travel to Camp Randall. Same weekend as the "We love Lutherans and green jello" Stiftungsfestivities when the Gusties travel to Collegeville. As was the case last year, look for the Badgers and the Johnnies to record wins that weekend. Might be the red and white.

If you need to get into Camp Randall free and want to avoid paying the scalpers $125 a ticket since the game will be sold out, see OAS. ::)

Hey, I am one of KR's biggest fans but this was a weak response at best, IMHO!!  LOL

I don't think the Johnnies will have any trouble winning that battle of the Lutherans vs. Catholics.  Gophers are @Purdue 9/23/06 so I may have to road trip to sunny (and not at all windy) Moorhead, MN for the Cobber/Johnnie clash this season.  It has been too long since my last Mick's burger and $3.25 pitcher.  Perhaps Mrs. Whoa Nelly can put together some maroon and gold jell-o if the Stiftungsfestivities make the trek up I-94.

[ I do hope the Gusties improve this season.]

recruiting may have improved with the plan for a new stadium.  May take a few years to see the impact of a new stadium on recruiting, but it may be working now for Hambone.

I could check the lines in sin city on the teams winning the MIAC.  I'm sure some casino has such odds.  Hell, you can bet on an over/under time on the national anthem for the superbowl.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job
