Dog biting incidences are good and all,

But come on JR, how can anyone forget the famous

"Officer running down the innocent turkey" incident of 2001"!

If I recall, PETA and the Poultry Association wanted that officer for their thanksgiving meal!

THIS sure beats ice fishing.  Wonder what the limit is.
I dont know if it beats ice fishing--there doesnt seem to be a lot of Hamms drinking going on.
I believe Fins was holding the camera - need I say more?
well played, tmerton. Well played.
Oh you boys are so wrong! Had I been there holding the camera, there would be Hamm's drinking going on.

Great vid clip Ritz. Hilarious.
Last week I was at Taco John's ordering at the counter (Taco Tuesday - 2 hardshells for $1.19 - can't beat that deal!). Waiting for my order you could hear the headset-wearing drive-thru attendant, who repeats the order to the customer, which customer electronically confirms. Order taker then says, "Will that be for here or to go?"

Fins: I trust better judgment came over you following tax day and the Pace Arrow remains in the driveway...Don't disappoint the legions who come from far and wide by selling that treasure.

Johnnie Red: Has your Stiftungsfest burger ever made it to Florida?  If not, you may now check it off the list.  The fellas at M and W took good care of me.

Hey Ritzy, how you feeling bud?  Hang in there, football season is about 4.5 months away.  I've been training for my wrestling match at the opening Stiftungsfestivities.  If JR keeps ripping me with his posts he may involuntarily enter the ring as well  :o

An APB has been put out for the safe return of DustySJU.  Those with info please report back ASAP.

I have missed you guys. And apparently, someone has been missing me...I have picked up negative karma and I haven't even posted in over a month and a half! I am feeling the love! ;) Anyway, I came across this today. It is the results from the study regarding D3 athletes and financial aid. Unfortunately, they don't name any of the schools, so the report isn't very juicy. Hopefully this hasn't already been posted...

Things are getting better....

My 1 beer per day regimine is like going to  SCSU: fun while it lasts, but gets you nowhere in life!

Sorry to do this, but I did find your wrestling profile picture:

Rumor has it the Gusties are hard on the recruiting trail of this leprechaun. I can only hope they get their backhoe down to Alabama in time to find his pot o' gold before the guy in the video...

I wonder if my 10% commission on the recruiting info would be enough to cover the 2.5 mil naming rights for GAC's new stadium. What should we call it, Mongo?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Hello MIAC

Closed Circuit to all Cobber Faithful:

Hated rivals, MSUM Dragons, are once again without a Head Coach. After only 1 year, a 1-9 season and a suprising loss by the varsity in the annual varsity vs alumni game, Chad Eisele has moved on to take the AD job at his alma mater Knox College in Illinois (same conference as Lake Forest and Monmouth)

MSUM AD claims that he will name an interim coach for the upcoming year and that his first choice is JOHN MACKOVIC, former Texas, Arizona, and the Kansas City Chiefs head coach.... sounds like a mess

RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:
"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

ritz72, you have a very good memory! The turkey incident of 2001 was unbelievable. I had the Renville County Attorney's Office handle the case since I felt we had a conflict because our office worked with the trooper who killed the turkey in front of the courthouse. There were a bunch of kids who witnessed the event.

I had more calls from concerned citizens and groups like PETA about this case than any other case I have handled in my 20 years as county attorney. That would include a number of homicide cases involving humans.

There were memorials placed on the corner of the street across from the courthouse where the turkey met its demise. One more reason Chaska is such a special place. :o

This is encouraging news. Cut back to 1 beer per day and your memory returns.  :D

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands free speaker function and begins to talk.

Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: "Hello"

WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"

MAN: "Yes"

WOMAN: "I'm at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"

MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."

WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2006 models. I saw one I really liked."

MAN: "How much?"

WOMAN: "$90,000"

MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."

WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing ... The house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000"

MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer of $900,000. They will probably take it. If not, we can go the extra 50 thousand. It's clearly a pretty good price."

WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much!!"

MAN: "Bye! I love you, too."

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths agape.....

He smiles and asks "Anyone know who this phone belongs to?"

Um, that was precisely the point - the drinking was going on behind the camera!  And from the looks of things, you must have been pouring most of it into the water.

WW--my favorite part of that video is that woman who guesses the leprechaun in actually a crackhead.  As for the stadium, it should probably be called "Wonka and Mongo's Big Ballz Stadium".  The name alone will get us some sweet chicks.

JRed--good to know that all Carver county towns aren't being over run by small killer dogs.  East Union sounds interesting because of the Gustavus ties.  Any jobs there for a guy finishing up his masters in sports management?  Perhaps 'town hamms taster'?
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job
