Johnnie Red

Boy, I have to spend the morning in a management meeting and the afternoon at a sentencing on a criminal vehicular homicide where the victim was a 42 year old mother and I get on the board and see all this antagonism :o.

Finsleft, as a Johnnie and a fellow attorney, you are a buddy for life. The picture you took of me holding the national championship trophy in 2003 at the airport in Roanoke is hanging in the reception area of my office. Part of the Johnnie Shrine in Carver County.

That said, cut OAS some slack. He was at the original Stiftungsfestivities in 2001 (OAS, I have a picture of everyone who was present. I will be getting that to you soon). OAS has been very instrumental in helping promote the Stiftungsfestivities all these years. The website is wonderful!

I suppose I should reveal the fact that my uncle/godfather was a professor at MAC a long time ago. I also ran on the MAC track numerous times while in college. It was a great venue.

A first today in court. I told the defendant at my criminal vehicular homicide sentencing that there was a coach from Pacific Lutheran by the name of Frosty Westering who told his players that you can know something about a person's character during the game and everything about their character once the game is over. I told him that just before he was cuffed and taken to jail. Hopefully it made an impact.

+K to JR

(If I were PC I'd give you +5  ;))

I think it's time to crank up the JR for judge campaign again.

The waiting line to smooch OAS' butt is getting pretty long. He IS one of Pat's boys you know.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I think everyone just need a cold Pabst Ice and chill out a little bit...

How many have you had?

I can gladly say I've only had 3

Frank, for a minute there I thought you were saying you had only had 3 beers.
Whew.  What a relief now that I figured it out.

I've had 9.  Picked up a case of Blatz Light and a case of Gluek Ice for the weekend.  Trying to expand my "cheap beer" horizon.  Also, that way you don't have to worry about anyone else sneaking your beer.

I've had 6  (Duffman, I've found that your beer-theft theory is spot-on, especially at WeFest)

Including N/A beers isn't fair.   And I have to say anybody who claims to have graduated college without drinking Milwaukee's Be(a)st, Natty Light, or Natty Ice (Frank) is a LIAR!

Bud Light in the top 50- that's bulls***!!!
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Oh my God Duff,

Not only Blatz, but Blatz Light?

I think an intervention may be necessary.

JR,

If you are talking about Booker Stanley my sources in the WIAC say no. Besides, he may well be in jail this coming football season.

And you are right, with Beaver they are set at RB.

I wouldn't rule anything out provided that he is not in jail!!! ;) ;) ;)

Buckman

The talk of Blatz reminded me of my Dad's beer when I was just a wee young lad....Pfeiffers's 12 ounce long neck returnable bottles.

DuffMan

Unfortunately, they only had Blatz Light, not the regular :(  I'll just have to drink more of it.

I really wish Pfeiffer's was still around.  All of the "older" folks talk about it all the time and I feel left out.

Hey Everybody-
My humble apologies for going off today on the board. Some of what I said was uncalled for and I regret getting whacked here. I must've got the placebo today. Couple of cold brews tonight got me back in the groove.
So anyhoo...peace to all and sorry about the childish crap.

And I just want to go on record right now picking SJU to win the 2006 Stagg Bowl. Remember this day.

You're picking the Stag Bowl after ony a couple?  Wait'll you have a few more.  Maybe you can pick some over/unders on individual games.

BTW, I have no doubt someone will remember your prediction of this day.
