tmerton,
I understand the whole reasoning behind the article, but who gives a rip...what about all the football players around the nation who win national titles or All-region titles in Track and Field, Baseball, etc, etc, etc.  The simple fact is that I could give a rip about 2 players who play lacrosse at Cortland and win the national championship.

Last I checked, PC doesn't publish the front page for the MIAC.  Besides, what would be wrong with articles about fb players who win titles in T&F?  What's your criteria?

Besides, you wear lack of appreciation like it's some sort of nobility.  Soccer and lacrosse are great sports whether you give a rip, a flip or a sip.  You don't dig 20,000+ at a D3 final like lacrosse had last week?  Your loss.  But don't make ignorance into a badge of honor.

Quit sucking up, tmerton.

Besides, I never said baseball wasn't a real sport.  I'll gladly accommodate any game in which you can sip on a beer while playing, especially since it rules out synchronized water dancing (or synchronized anything for that matter).  8)

Last I checked, your new best friend had also created boards for both of your current infatuations. Why not take those rambling there, as it's been made clear they aren't exactly appreciated here?

If I ever use the word "besides" four times in three sentences, I hope someone slaps me. Besides TDT and besides Mongo anyway, since they are ignorant. But that's besides the point.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I bet Cortland fans could give a rip about Bethel stories, too, but we still run them.

You shouldn't run stories about Bethel.

As much as I hate to say this, we need some Bethel and UST posters on here (more obnoxious and blind about their school's chances than MR) so we can quit arguing about which winter/spring sports are more manly and relevant than the others and get back to what really matters, SJU's 2006 run to the Stagg Bowl and 5th National Title!

That's a very good point, however you can run Bethel stories under the condition they talk about punching teammates in the nose for Jesus.

I seem to remember a PC comment that there would never be hockey on this site. I know there is another spot on the net for it but I still wonder why.

It would be the only way UW-nonSUPERIOR would ever get mentioned, especially since their Men's and Women's basketball teams went 0-32 in conference this season, and they have no football team.

USCHO really has the market on college hockey.  I love this site, but I don't think PC wants to be in the market to compete or come in second just for college hockey.  He puts in enough time policing our sorry Hamms-drinking rears, imagine adding a bunch of Molson drinkers!

Guess you are off my new synchronized beer drinking team then.

KR and I anchored the synchronized shot-taking team our senior year.  We took over from Duff the prior year.

Oh yeah- and TDT captained the synchronized cosmo drinking squad...
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

It's only a skirt if you wear underwear. I NEVER wore a skirt.
If you came to the game at SJU ( I can't remember who was and who wasn't there due to BLSMS Busch Light Shortened Memory Syndrome), you would know how damn cold it can be in Minnesota in December. Imagine exposing your twig and giggleberries to the 28 degree elements. The boys didn't come back down until I was halfway to Salem.

That was a great year for the synchronized shot-taking. The sychronizing was a bit off, but the quantity compensated.

I'm off to go golf 18 then this aft were off to the wonderful land of Kandiyohi county. Duff and Admit, gimme a ring if you're in the area over the next week plus.

All-
Since when did I rip on soccer?  FYI, I played goalkeeper for BU for 2 seasons and football for BU for 1 season have played soccer since I was 6, so, I love the sport.  Anyone who thinks soccer is stupid, think again...last I checked it was the most popular sport in the world!  Also, I encourage all the watch the World Cup...the USA is ranked 6th in the world and is in the hardest group that the World Cup Committee put together (Czech Republic, Ghana, and Italy).

Thats great that soccer is the most popular sport in the world but in the words of and ugly arrogant American...
You don't live in the world you live in America where "American Football" rules.

another point the "world" calls it football  as far as I know we are the only country that calls it soccer

Outstanding, Malaria and Tuberculosis are the "most popular" infectious diseases in the world, fortunately the US takes steps to prevent them from catching on here as well.

That article was about BU and Ben Mathews, one of the greatest cornerbacks in D3 that season...

You can't be serious!  He was one of the worst tacklers I've seen play college football!  Just because the kid picked off a lot of passes doesn't make him a great corner.  There's a lot else that goes into it.

I just simply made a comment about cortland state's lacrosse team-I am happy that they won the national title, but for a bunch of D3 football lovin' freaks, it really doesn't interest us...that's all I am saying....the name of the this website is d3football.com....anyways, that's all I have to say.  Congrats Cortland on a fine lacrosse season!

And we wouldn't have run it on D3football.com if there weren't a Division III football angle. We do that with offseason stories on a regular basis. In my mind it's better than having the same story up there for weeks at a time.
