Actually, with the d-linemen and linebackers that we graduated last year, it could be interesting.

What's the AM/FM reception like at SJU?  Good or bad, number of stations (MPS come in clear?)  What about Satellite radio?

DuffMan

Depends on the stereo.  You can get some Minneapolis stations (the big ones) with a decent antennae.  Don't know about satellite radio.  You'll get lots of country stations from St. Cloud and the surrounding communities :D

They have been running the bone for 20 years at least, and are very proficient at it.

Who's bone?

QuoteRiver Falls has a tough time getting non-conference games because of the bone. For the past  few years they've had to play a couple D-2 schools per year to fill out the schedule.

Does River Falls still scrimmage Concordia during two-a-days?

tmerton: Why the inquiry?  Won't you be listening via the web from the Bay Area most of the time?  From my experience the AM signal is downright awful at SJU, but most FM stations are pretty deese.  Not sure what that all means considering SJU football has a new radio deal this year.

Rumor: I hear that Mongo plays a MEAN air geeeeetar.  12 Hamm's and Clapton doesn't hold a candle to the Warrior.

PS- KR are you any better than the day I worked you and your old man in Mansfield with your mom's set of clubs?

And the problem with that Duff??    AM sucks at SJU- gotta listen to the Twins via internet...
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

And here I thought all the country music came from the Moorhead area!

Auggie Tech flagship music station is B96.

JR,

I think that was your first post in months without a jab at me.

I think that's called "Scandanavian Swing" up there JR.  :D

The wishbone is a great formation to run against an undisciplined defense-read team that doesn't know their assignments. Unfortunately for River Falls, SJU does not fall into that category. I would look for the speed on the D-line to disrupt the bone quite nicely.

BDB

I know that Stout is the only team in the WIAC that plays them straight up.

Every other team in the conference plays a different defense than they normally do when they face River Falls.

They have played them the past 4 years.

Unless they took a break somewhere in there I believe they have been scrimmaging since 1999-2000.

It was a nice tune-up for us as we saw Moorhead State's veer the first game every year...and the watermelon in Litchfield after the scrimmage was always delish...
