I better not get blamed for this round of smiting either. I've just returned from a Gustavus golf outing and spoke with TDT on the drive home. In trying to impress my old basketball coach yesterday, I crushed my driver on Hole 1...straight up and into a tree. It fell roughly 5 feet from where I tee'd off.

Thank God we weren't playing Danny Dickau rules...

Off to nap so I can dominate the Buri's tonight in Star of the North.
1400 posts and I just gave you your 1st karma point for your 5 yard drive.  :o

Off to the sunny shores of Pearl Lake for the weekend, then Sunday up to God's country for a week of chasing the elusive Lake Kabetogama walleye. There better be Hamm's up there!

BDB

I remember going up to Kabetogama and then crossing into Canada via I-Falls. Stopping at a nice restaurant, I asked the server what they had for imported beers, thinking since I was here I would get a Canadian brew.

She said "Miller, Budweiser,Hamm's......."

Duh, me.   :-[

And on the US side you can get Molson's and Labatt's.  8)

Fins, since you will be so close, you may have to wander north and try a domestic.

Looks pretty good about now.

A week away from the computer?  Good grief.  :o  What bout the PA?  Is it running?

Kilted Rat

Who would want that 1 beer when you could have 2 of these? (If one is as refreshing as the land of the sky blue waters, how good must a second be?)

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Impossible to argue against those facts, KR.  :)

I gotta get me one of these brewmaster jobs, although this guy is responsible for the Point Beer swill.

Hey, Fins - Just checked kabetogama.com and it's a whopping 61 degrees up there (the first reading I saw was 16(!) degrees, but fortunately that was C).  Don't you want to wait until they have summer?

It was 97 here yesterday (a dry 97) but is back down to 70s and 80s today and for the weekend.   8)

That's nothing...on my 2nd shot on hole 7 at North Links, I managed to hit a small tree and sent a beautiful shot negative 50 yards.

WW- Never heard it called by that particular name, but I'm assuming the Danny Dickau rules involve your drive, the women's tee box, and proving your manhood?
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Wow Admit you're a real bright bulb.  Jeezus you farm boys need to get out once in a while.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

No better welcome home to MN than seeing a 30-pack of Hamms sitting in a Blaine liquor store.  I'm pretty sure a tear came to my eye.

WW--looking forward to a golf outing, especially to show you that you're not the only one that can hit spectacular tee shots.  BTW--house party at Atrain's new place this sat. night.  Robert H. is coming up and planning the festivities.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

Willy Wonka

admit - Tis one and the same.

Mongo - Since you don't return calls or emails, I'll leave this message here. Frank is out. Do we want to make Diercks skip work? Could Paul S join us on such short notice? You got anyone else without a job that we know that could come down?

Or what about Hoag? I'm sure he'd love to remind us how sweet he is. I mean, it's been a few days since Uncle Sid reminded us...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I know that the cable discussion was pages ago but when one misses one day away from the computer, with you guys, it takes 2 hours of homework to catch up!!  ;D ;D  Anyway, I have a good cable story (but then, who doesn't.)  Moved into a new house and called to have cable put in our name as it was already connected to house and running.  They said they were backed up and it would take 3 weeks before a technichan could get out to the house to take care of it.    No problem, since there was still cable coming into the house for us to watch.  2 days later a technichan came by and disconnected it......  :'( :'( :'(

KR, I must say, I am surpised about you and Ann,  Even some of the staunchest conservatives have trouble defending that b@#ch....Me.....for one.... ;) ;)
