SUMMIT!!!!!

It sounds like this should be an awesome weekend for the Twins....they're expecting 115-120,000 for the series, and with the 3 Aces slated, I see 3 "W"s.....UNLESS The Kilted One forgets to post pictures, and he's too big of a fan to do that!

KR-- keep the photos coming!!!  daily +K for all your efforts

Morneau's HR reminded me of some of Harmon's in his prime.....everyone in the park knew it was long gone as soon as it hit the bat. He is a bona fide MVP candidate.

Can any of you MIAC guys tell us what to expect out of Beloit and Chris Brann...just wondering what formations we will see on offense and defense...and if they run, pass, or option most of the time.

Big kudos   :-* to Senora Duffman for the Hamm's tip. Just got back from Cashwise with 4 cases @ $7.97.

Where's our man Frank Rickard to give us the heads up on these deals? Maybe he went to the dark side and is now pushing Bud?  :o

BDB

BTW, $7.50 for a case of Hamm's? ???

As a liquor store owner, that, in some weird way, offends me.  ;)

A man and his wife were celebrating 50 years
together. Their three kids, all very successful,
agreed to a Sunday dinner in their honor.

"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad," gushed son number
one... "Sorry I'm running late... had an emergency,
you know how it is, didn't have time to get you both a
present."

Not to worry," said the dad..."the important thing is
that we're all here together today."

Son number two arrived and announced, "You and Mom
still look great, Dad. I just flew in from L.A. and
didn't have time to get you a present...Sorry."

It's nothing," said the father, "Glad you were able to
be here."

Just then the daughter arrived, "Hello both of you,
Happy Anniversary! I'm sorry, but my boss is sending
me out of town and I was really busy packing... so I
didn't have time to get you guys anything."

Again the father said, "I really don't care, at least
the five of us are together today."

After they had all finished dessert, the father put
down his knife and fork, looked up and said, "Listen
up, all three of you, there's something your mother
and I have wanted to tell you for a long time. You
see, we were very poor. Despite this, we were able to
raise each of you and send you to college. All through
the years your mother and I knew that we loved each
other very much but... we just never found the time to get married."

The three kids gasp and said, "You mean we're bastards?"

"Yep," said the dad..."and cheap ones too!"

Not to quibble over 47 cents, but $7.97 is a great price. How can that offend you. They must be moving tons of it, because the stacks of cases along the wall had a big dent where the Hamm's was. Best thing was the poster in the window actually had a lake with a canoe on it, instead of that stoopid mountain on the package.

Figured the Hamm's would speak for itself since it's on sale at Cashwise and Westside.

Anyone needing any Miller LIte should hit up Westside for 18 pack of 16 oz cans (same as 24 pack 12 oz cans) for 11.99...that's 5 bucks less than a regular case.

Well here's a +k to help you feel better. Just thought one of our boys in the bidness would tip us instead of hearing it from someone's mom.  :-[

Frank, I'm a long time member.  Jake and company do a terrific job over in Chippewa Falls.

JohnniePress: Any news/development on perhaps streaming the games live online this fall?  I know it is starting to happen around the country.  It would be really sweet to be able to catch the games on the net instead of having to listen to the radio broadcast.  I and others living across the country/world would gladly pay a fee to help defer costs if need be.

KR: Any idea why Harold Reynolds was fired by the Worldwide Leader??  ;)  ;)
