As the resident Anna K. board guru (I had a great picture of a 16-year-old Anna up in my dorm room back in the day, and no, I didn't feel dirty.), I feel it's my duty to inform the public of a few more classy pics. They may or may not be enjoyed by Pat, so either do a search for "Anna K yellow bikini" or look here, though checking them at the office may not be the best idea.

On a similar note...all this talk a B-list latin hearthrobs is tiresome. I mean, are there any A-list latin heartthrobs that we need to even make this determination? Can anyone answer this? TDT, I'm counting on your Floridian/Gay 90s Nightclub connections to track down this info.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Greetings from WE FEst. Sitting here on my golf cart with my laptop, just had to check the board, ya know.
Tried to drink Becker County out of Hamm's last night. Came close but, alas, I failed. About time to give it another try today.
Music starts in an hour. By the looks of things, Sumander will be spending the nest 3 weeks counting money, then take the rest of the year off.
+k to all that my failing battery will reach.

Report from the local hospital ER is  that business is booming already! The cowboys apparently are in a particularly sour mood thus far. Must not be enough Hamm's at the FEST to mellow everybody out!

FYI, if anyone wants to start a streak of claiming they have infinite control over MLB players, starting it when the Twins are playing the Royals is a good idea.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Well gents, I head out tomorrow for a week on the lake down in Tennessee with Papa and Mama KR as well as lil sis and lil bro KR.

I have 2-12 packs of Hamm's along since PapaKR has never experienced the brew from the land of the sky blue waters. I am forced to take 1-12 packs because no liquor/grocery/drug stores in a 10 mile radius of my place think it worthwhile to carry 30 or even 24packs.

+k to all especially the Twins!

Tenne-fricken-see?  Good luck, KR.  Looked into doing something at Vanderbilt once but other than that have never had a thought about living in, much less visiting, the Volunteer state.  Nice football program there; not many graduates, but that appears to be beside the point.   :P

Almost football season, as the papers start putting football news in...

First, from Shooter:
) It's official: Edina's Bernie Kukar, who was referee for two Super Bowls, confirmed Thursday that he is retiring after 43 years as an official, 22 of them in the NFL.

"You can't go on forever in this business," Kukar said. "I might as well go out when I'm still pretty good at it."

Kukar, 66, who refereed the 1999 and 2002 Super Bowls, might stay connected with the NFL in a lesser capacity.

Career highlights?

"The two Super Bowls; that's the apex of the officiating business, and you can't go any higher," he said. "That's the premier sporting event in the world."

Kukar's departure leaves Minnesota with three NFL officials: Tom Barnes of St. Paul, Jeff Seeman of Chaska and Mike Spanier of Sartell.

"Time marches on," said Kukar, who summers in Lutsen, Minn. "It was fun."

From the SC Times article about the SJU kickoff luncheon, in part:

Some of the jokes may have been familiar, but the crowd of around 175 people gathered at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn Thursday afternoon were still excited to hear John Gagliardi tell them.

The longtime St. John's University head football coach was the featured speaker at the Johnnies' annual kickoff luncheon, which this year also provided the team's fans and some of Gagliardi's current and former players with the chance to congratulate the 79-year-old on his induction to the College Football Hall of Fame.
