MIACtrackguy-Did you see any real football fans talking on the UMAC board?

Nope, and I havent seen one post anything intelligent on here either

The funny thing is AO, I almost gave you props for your take off on Animal House...then you ruined it by showing your ignorance. Piece of advice--- offer your opinions on here about as often as NWC beats SJU, MUC(k) or even UST.

But I do have to agree with Finsleft.....no point censoring or banning the annoying...let him keep yapping. It may be an irritation,  but AO is comical in a lot of ways--- too bad its laughing at him, not with him.

Since when is it a prerequisite to have intelligence in order to be a real football fan?   Did my explanation to Pat's post make sense?  Geewhiz, without a miac education, i'm not sure i have enough real words in my vocabulary to communicate.
MIACtrackguyfFPM: How are Hamline and Auggie going to do this year?  Programs on the rise?  I'd say it's about time one of those two teams beat a Bethel, St. Thomas or Concordia.  Carleton played the cobbers pretty well last year, and the metrodome bethel vrs augsburg game was pretty close.  Maybe Wartburg as well as the previous two games against the IIAC power have gone down to the wire?

FPM

OK I can work with this,  Not sure how much improved Hamline will be this year, I still have visions of PJ going deep at will from last year and think they were a long way from getting there but we will see they will be improved I just don't think enough to a team from the top half.  Augsburg shold be better this year than they were last year they have put the Lavessier saga to bed and have a stellar defense with an absolute animal at LB.  I am not sure how the Offense will be but I know they will be above average and I say they should give Bethel and UST a run but come up short.  I will be interested to see what Haege does with his offense as he seen in Arena league offensive genius.

Uhhh, TDT, why did you share this with the Liberty League and not the MIAC?  It explains a lot.

Man, TDT was just thinking and TDT has come to a conclusion.
TDT really really really likes dudes.
If Gro, or LD11, or Holla or JT are ever in Naples and wanna spoon with an overweight mama's boy, give TDT a call.
Fellas, TDT is sick of the Bullsh*t, time to get out of this closet.

OK folks, sorry to be the heavy here. But I think a line has been crossed and somebody owes somebody an apology. I'm all about having fun, as those who know me will attest, but I think we need to be a bit more sensitive of others' feelings with our attempts at humor. Nothing wrong with some good natured ribbing, etc. but constantly laying it on sometimes gets to be a bit too much.
Might I suggest we keep in mind the golden rule?

ZIP,
Thanks for the reminder. I only had 2 packs of Redenbachers left so I went out and got more. Can't be too careful.

How about the Quarterbacks for Augsburg?  The Augsburg preview didn't seem to have to much of an idea who would be playing the position come fall between the experience of Hagen and Lange, and the transfers from UMD and UW-Lacrosse.  Though it doesn't look like either of the transfers has taken a varsity snap yet.

MR - I don't think little red x's are going to scare the Johnnies.  (Can anyone else see these?  Using IE all I get is a red x and using Firefox it's just blank.)

No shame to our Iowegian contemporaries, but they haven't exactly set the MIAC on fire in the playoffs recently.  Since 1997, the MIAC is 6-2 against the IIAC in the playoffs (losses by Augsburg to Simpson in 1997 and Bethel to Wartburg in 2003).  In that time, SJU and Concordia have not lost to IIAC squads (defeating Coe, Central and Wartburg over that time).  So Augsburg coming close to beating Wartburg, in Haege's first game (giving the Knights no film to study a pretty complex offense) doesn't exactly mean much to me...

Carleton's new coach, though a Johnnie, came in pretty late.  Best of luck to Ramler, but this will be a tough season for the Knights.  The Augsburg offense is quick and efficient, but if they get down in a game, I don't know if they have the horses to come back.  The Pipers will be improved but still not out of the hole.  What about the Gusties?

Mayville State is a program on the rise. They have a new, young coach that has really dedicated himself to improving the program. By no means is Hamline going to walk over these guys.

Heck, I even picked against my Pipers. I just don't like what I read from Mr. Mallat's preview. The same running backs who were undersized last year. Still no QB. A line that with a lot of question marks. A defense that had a lot of takeawys but also gave up a lot of points.

I'm think this year the Pipers will win their usual 2 games with maybe an upset.

I'm to blame for this one. I kind of expected Max would have changed the password from Maxsucks when I gave him the Busdriver log-in info to get around the ban.
I thought it was decent retribution for all TDT's comments about people's wives, sisters, etc on here over the years.

So I apologize if I went too far. TDT does take a lot of ribbing, most of it well deserved and he does dish out his fair share as evidenced by his multiple bannings from this site.

Sorry TDT, I'll bring you a Hamm's at the next Stiffyfest.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.
