This message brought to you by Piggly Wiggly...

And Kohl's Department stores.

KR, just a little reminder of the Wiscy you come from before you hit the big time in some big city. (not Des Moines)  ;)

Kilted Rat

God Bless Piggly Wiggly Grocery stores!

When we were in Wiscy the weekend after the 4th, a Shop the Pig commercial came on the radio. MrsKR started cracking up laughing, she had never heard of Piggly Wiggly before!

For the rest of the weekend my ill-fated mission was to find her a Piggly Wiggly so she could say she shopped the pig. The Pig in Watertown closed recently so we were unable to show her a Piggly Wiggly.

Next time we head into Wisconsin, I am going to make sure we find one though.

I seem to remember Granite City being closed for renovations last time I was through St. Cloud.  Maybe someone local can confirm this???

It was open two weeks ago.  I'll have to see how the steak-eaters are doing after the game.  Sometimes only something like Outback will do.  8)

Not too sure about the TV situation or the steaks, but Stonehouse on the edge of St. Joe had some awfully tasty appetizers, beer and TVs in the bar last time I was in there. Nice place, too.
GC is open.

It must be open, then.  I haven't been through in a while, and my memory of it being closed is a little fuzzy.

It is with much glee that I congratulate the Kilted One on his achievement of 3000 posts.  I must say like none other on the board I feel a brotherhood with you. You a Rat me THE Piper; you an osteopath me a chiropractor we share a similar path to entertain and heal.

Now if I can just figure out where the hell you find all the extra time during school to post the literary masterpieces you have become known for.

On a more serious note, Johnnie Esq, I need some pessimisim for Saturday's game-will Kofoed be the QB to lead SJU to the win and the National Championship or will he be replaced a few games into the season?
My patented pessimism?

I don't question Kofoed's abilities, but I am interested to learn if he becomes the field general SJU needs.  The offense will be fine either way, but will be a force to reckon with if he decides to be a "leader".

I'm more concerned about the newbies on the defensive line.  With the WIAC hogs taking up space in the trenches, our rookies need to show they belong or UWEC will play ball-control, keep the Johnnie-offense-off-the-field.  They'll look where Steffensmeier is and run to the other side of the field.

So I'm concerned about Saturday...

To Gro alone for organizing the LLPP field trip to the MIAC board many moons ago that rejuvenated this board from being on the verge of falling behind the LLPP in posts.

Thanks KR and some more +k to you. the 2 best boards in d3 world... headlined by some talented posters. How much do those comedians on "best week ever" get paid? We do it for free!

Hey fins, why next to your Posts does it say "leet".  ???

Or is that just me.  ???

KR,

Congrats on 3000.  I don't know how you find the time.  You're going to have to get a Crackberry or a Palm so you can post when you are being a doctor.  I can see it now:

"I can't defibrillate you right now.  AO just topped himself with another idiotic post.  And MR is trying to pump up the lame Royals.  Got to respond right now.  Damn, this is a lot harder just using your thumbs."

p.s.  Could you get your rotation moved to the U of M?  Looks like I'll be going under the knife there soon.  Always good to have someone looking out for you.   8)
