Thanks bennie, Don't forget to call Willy Wonka from the GAC game on Saturday.

Ah...I think I will let him contact me if he wants a call. ;D

The more Royals the better!

tmerton, I gotta tell ya.. this was a Top 10 post in my book!  :D
Well, it was the picture next to it that might have brought down the house - google men dancing for images and check the one labeled "men dancing at Kaminabit" (KR - what is that guy's medical condition ???)

That would be the dreaded fake wooden penis attached to the skirt syndrome. Much like the bald-dude-Ferarri-driving syndome, this syndrome is only used as a form of compensation for other areas that are not up to par.

Did anybody hear about KRs first procedure on his first couple days.  Went something like this....   "Get me an Ender nail, and a nail gun, Get me a Cortical Screw, Screwdriver, and throw in a Antiglide Plate,"    But Doctor, Porta has a fracture in his hand?  " Don't Back talk me nurse", and for God sakes, get me a red cup, this guys in a lot of Pain!!!!

KR.  do they alow kilts in the O.R.??

Nope, no kilts in the OR, so I end up wearing a shirt and noose all day with my damn white coat on, gets a bit humid in there.

I'm on a radiology rotation, so I'd maybe see Porta's x-ray but not be involved in his procedure, although I will drink a red cup's worth of bevy tonight to help Porta's pain. Or maybe that's to help my pain from watching Silva pitch :'(

Hamline ran a zone running system when Tressel was coach.

The term you were looking for is attempted.

Pat,
Since when did the karma rules get bumped to every 24 hours? I have to wait at least another hour until I can smite AO or applaud BDB, Duff, Fins, ROR, Tmerton, JEsq, OAS, TDT, etc. This is really going to test my ADD.

The Hamline athletic site is being worked on at this time so can't check the exact year Tressel started at Hamline but I believe he was there for like 15 years and beat St. Johns 5 times.  Not to bad huh

Whoa Nelly

Does anyone thing the Gophers have a fart's chance in the wind at Cal on Saturday?

My office is teeming with Golden Bears who were boasting last week that the "smart money" was on Cal over Tenn.  Seems a lot of that smart money ended up in Tennessee as the bears were dreadful.  ;D

Cal should beat the socks off the rodents but the bears tend to play down to the level of their opponent (more often than they play up), so it might be a good game.  Still, given the talent Cal has and the egg they laid last week, the bears shouldn't lose.

I'm not a big Cal fan, so good luck to the rodents.

Ha, me? Who are you kidding

As of this evening, I have applauded you 2 days in a row. Not sure why though.

PI will be up a little late. Maybe 11ish, but will make up for the missed 1 1/2 in the two hours he's there. Working hard to impress a pretty 21-year-old that wants to go around town and check out the city-wide garage sale. She's way out of my league, so I'm hanging on by a thread.

JR- Will try to find something around town. We do have a nice meat market, Lang's, but it sounds like we are solid for meat and cheese. I'm definitely bringing some Mad Dog 20/20.

Hey, KR, how do you know so much about fake wooden penises?  Is that part of med school training?   :D  Talk about havin' a woody.   :o

Just watched the NBC clip. Did I hear that right? Grandpa played every minute of every game for 4 years? Wow!

Veek

I'll arrive at SJU on Saturday between 9:00 and 9:30.  I have to wait for my mother to arrive to babysit before I can leave.

After what happened to me last Saturday (or so I thought) it's probably a good thing that I'll be showing up 1 1/2 hours later than last week.  Right, Fins?

I'm looking forward to seeing another WIAC team behind the pine curtain.  I can't wait for Saturday!
Go Johnnies!!!

Touchdown Tommy

Oh Wise Veek,

What happened? Did the Lil Falls Po-Po pull you over on the way home??

No, TDT. It's a way better story than that.

Veek, you bringing your grill?

Touchdown Tommy

You guys can't leave me hanging.  Fins let's hear it!  I'll bet Wise Ol' Veek has went to slumber for the evening...
