It's not football but the MIAC lost a pretty accomplished swimmer Sunday night in Carleton's Ted Mullin who lost a battle to synovial cell sarcoma.  (KR can describe this cancer)

Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as you enjoy MIAC athletics this weekend.

Not real familiar with synovial cell sarcoma, but from the name I can tell it is a cancer derived from mesenchymal tissue. Like most sarcomas, it is likely pretty malignant and rapidly fulminant. Prayers for Ted and his family.

I could probably give Sumander and 57Johnnie a run for their money on the computer challenged thing, so for right now, no picture. I will say this, Anna and I have the same color hair, unfortunately, that is where the similarities end... Oh, and I don't have a B-list Latin heartthrob either!

During college gameday last saturday, I saw a sign reading: Brady Quinn's Sister for Heisman.   Thought that was pretty good. 

Made me wonder if the gophers will ever get to be the home for college gameday--I'm guessing only after they get their new stadium.  And they stop sucking.

During last year's Fiesta Bowl it got really old showing her split jersey and man jaw.  It seemed to be 50/50 between guys who thought she was hot and not hot.  I cast for not hot.

Brady Quinn's sister looked more like AJ than Brady. Brady is man-pretty enough that if she was Brady with long hair she'd be hot.
AJ on the other hand looks like a Neanderthal who still hunts with a club and uses a similar strategy when dating.

TC: I can't quite make out what that scoreboard says...But I think it says SJU 31-BC 26.  Am I wrong?  Haven't the "Mighty Royals" come into Collegeville a few times the past few years highly touted and ready to unleash that vicious D and Porta-Potty and laid goose eggs?  Am I wrong?  I am shrivering already at the thought of Porta "running all over the Js" just like the last few seasons.

Well apparently KR and Frank are in the same condition this lovely Friday evening.  Just received a call from Frank mumbling drunk about his hatred for Boese and how he skipped out on a showdown with Duffman to stay in the Twin Cities.  Something about that just means he will drink more Hamm's.

BTW: The Twins were hot tonite.  Nice to see the bats wake up.

I'm pretty certain it was 29-26 (wish I could make the ownage bigger...), but the final score mattered less than the 409-euphoria.  All I know is SJU >>>>>> BU=UST>>>NWC.




Should be leaving the Mound around 9:30 tomorrow morning with 24 - (however many I finish tonight) PBRs in tow.  Excited for the first in-person Johnnie game of the year.  Fire up the red cups!

Good to see the Twins bats finally come to life a little tonight.  Even with his inconsistencies so far this year, I really think Garza is going to be something special.  His "flashes of brilliance" are, well...  brilliant.
