 Mighty Royal, Royalachilles,

Is that linebacker back from last year, I think he was #7.  He seemed to be all over the field last year when we were up there.  He was a real hitter.  He could help stop the run.

Freebird,
Hey I didn't know I would see you on the sideline last night during the MNF games.  That must be a pretty sweet internship you got.  Keep up the good work!  Remember Go Cobbers!

Freebird

Haha, you will have to tell Grant I said Hi  :)

Yeah it is a pretty cool job, although this weekend was intense.  I actually just got back from DC about an hour ago.

What are you doing for MNF, freebird? I was watching and didn't see anyone wearing evil Bethel gear.

Trying to talk my dad into skipping a wedding to take in the CC/BU game this weekend. He's on the Cobber Wall of Fame, but is wavering in his alumni dedication. I'm more than willing to skip my particular wedding to cheer against the Royals, so hopefully I'll talk him into it ;D
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Freebird

I am the Production Coordinator and unfortunately I don't get to sport Bethel gear only a plain polo and dressy/work pants.  The biggest draw back to the job is not being able to attend saturday football games all season.  Thank goodness for text messages

I think the CC/BU game is going to be worth going too.  It seems CC is down a bit but last year they were the best team we played so I expect them to come out very strong.  I think it will be in the low teens something like 13-10...BU winning of course

I will definately will do that for ya.

Freebird

Did Grant tell you about working on the field during the game New England/Vikes game?  If you wanted to come down with him and Randy I could find an extra spot for you.

tmerton,

I do have that problem in mine.  I have son that graduated from Wartburg and one that is attending Central now.  The bantering never seases.  The boys do get along but the jabs and barbs are always there.  I just stay out of it and tell them to keep it to a dull roar.

My condolences - but they may grow out of it in 50 or 60 years.

Hey Bennie,

I've had the NHL Center Ice Package for about three years now. It's not that expensive - usually about $140 on either Dish Network or DirecTV, I assume it would be about the same on cable systems. However, one drawback is that there are some godawful announcers there too. Surprisingly some crews you would think would be knowlegdeable and good are horrible. Detroit, Buffalo and Pittsburgh are almost unbearable. Others are homers. Surprisingly, the duo from DC (Joe Benninati and Craig Laughlin) are good, or at least I find them so after being exposed to them for about ten seasons. The Wild are good, as are the Kings and Rangers. Others fall in the vast mid range.

You want to talk bitter rivals let's talk Johnnie's v. Tommies  ;)

Woah - just imagine if you had that rivalry within your immediate family!  :o ;D

The experience of a interfamily rivalry has got to be tough on anyone especially a Johnnie-Tommie rivalry.........especially for an elder man like sumander......I missed you at the Stiffyfest last week Sumander....I was looking for the famous brats....but JR's burgers did the trick as usual  ;D

Mighty Royal-

sources from inside cobberville say that the running game that was virtually absent versus the dragons will be back to its old ways this weekend at bethel, should be interesting to see how that shakes out

Word is that Porta is back....BU's run D will be best in the MIAC this year...GUARANTEED!

Mighty Royal

Very bold call MR, yet you still impress me with the abundance of Chuck facts !!

Watchmen: Do you get outta bed early to come to the Stiffyfest?  :o  What is the word among students so far this year?  Are they disappointed that the La has closed or is Sal's just packed?  Maybe the El Paso will make a comeback, I hear from the elderly posters that it used to be quite the hangout spot...

Frank: How did we not spot Old Johnnie Ale at Sal's?  Does Hamm's trump OJA when they are both on tap?  Ponder this...

Everyone watch out for flying beer bottles as they walk thru the "park" on the way to Auggie Tech's friendly confines on Saturday...

I would definately want to do that for sure.  When is the date of that game?
