Did Grant tell you about working on the field during the game New England/Vikes game?  If you wanted to come down with him and Randy I could find an extra spot for you.

I would definately want to do that for sure.  When is the date of that game?

October 30th, your call time would be like 4 and you guys can leave right after the game.  You will probably be down on the field holding a camera cable or something.

On to more important issues after a hard night doing primary election coverage until 4am...and you guys thought I was just a sports writer!

As I roll into the house, I was instantly confronted with 4 options. Please tell me what you would have chosen.

1. Go directly to bed in hopes of waking up by noon to watch Franny throw for the first time in more than a month.
2. Watch "Sexual Surrender" on Skinemax.
3. Watch "Sexual Boundaries" on Skinemax 2
4. Watch Whoopi in "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" on HBO.

Sidenote: All tv option are combo meals with Madden 2007, unless my hands are otherwise, um, busy. That Whoopi just does it for me...

RIP Pac. 10th Anniversary of the GOAT's murder is today. God Bless the Dead.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

TDT,

KR, I am with you on bringing back U2 as THE music of the Stiftungsfestivities. Just thought everyone would enjoy something new with Paris Hilton.

Anyone know of any restaurant/watering hole that we could gather at Saturday morning by Auggie Tech prior to getting in line at 11:00 a.m. for the 600 tickets? We could meet around 9:30-10:00. Let me know.

Watch 2 while you TiVO 3, then watch 3 followed by doing wrist stretches to relieve any Carpal Tunnel symptoms you worked up ummm playing Madden.

JR,
I am all about a change now and again, but only if a change means an improvement, you know like when New Kids on The Block went from 3 guys to 4 and then dropped such hits as "Hangin' Tough," "The Right Stuff," and "Please Don't Go Girl" on the world.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I heard on the radio yesterday that Michael Jackson thought that the band "Boys to Men" was a delivery service!  :D

Nice article in the StarTribune on the Macalester team and Caruso as their streak stops at 15.

Also in the article:
Bethel senior running back Phil Porta, who has missed the Royals' first two games because of an undisclosed injury, is expected to return to the lineup this week when the Royals (2-0) play host to Concordia (Moorhead) on Saturday.

Watchmen: Do you get outta bed early to come to the Stiffyfest?  :o  What is the word among students so far this year?  Are they disappointed that the La has closed or is Sal's just packed?  Maybe the El Paso will make a comeback, I hear from the elderly posters that it used to be quite the hangout spot...

Frank: How did we not spot Old Johnnie Ale at Sal's?  Does Hamm's trump OJA when they are both on tap?  Ponder this...

Everyone watch out for flying beer bottles as they walk thru the "park" on the way to Auggie Tech's friendly confines on Saturday...

TDT- I usually get to stiffyfest later because I stay up so late the night before. Thats why both of the last weeks my beverage of choice has been gatorade.

The students don't seem to upset about the La closing but now everyone is flocking to Sal's. El Paso has been a hot place the since school started too. But I still think that the liqour store purchase by the board should be changed and buy the La and open that back up. From September to May you guys would make a killing.!

That is straight up the dumbest thing I've heard all of today....AND yesterday. Why would you do something like that. Now poor Northern COlorado is down to its third string punter. How will they make a run to the BCS championship game?!!

Maybe KR and the Fry Guy tunes should be the official Stingy fest music?

Anything would be better than that Paris Ho-ton CD. That is terrible! I'd rather listen to drunk overweight bennies sing Cecilia than that crap again.

Please JR, bring back U2 like Stiftungfestivities were meant to be!

Bench and I are friends. We had a rap group in the late 90's called KR and the Fry Guy. We sold 3 albums; 1 to each of our mom's and we chipped in to buy one to share.

KR, using my old school math, that means you only have 999,997 more to sell to have a Gold Album!

Where are they all, in some U-Store-It place?  ???   :D

They're in Bench's mom's basement. You know, BDB, they would look great in your gas stations with the impulse buys like the sandal on a stick fly-swatter, the zippo lighters, and stuff. Is $0.99 too much to ask? I have to talk to Bench and see if we can agree on your cut. I'm thinking you get a nickle for each one sold, I get 50 cents, Bench gets 25 cents, Bench's mom gets 10 cents for storing them, 5 cents from each goes to the producer (me) and the remaining 4 cents is split evenly between the beer fund and Jerry's kids. Sound good to you Bench?

It was an honor to finally meet BDB, glad to know I didn't dissapoint.

Old-
Do you know if Porta will be playing?  The only way I see CC winning is if they pass for 350 yds on the day...no way can they run over BU.  If BU cuts down on turnovers (I think this will be nipped in the bud after this last weekend), they should have no problem this weekend.  Just going on what CC has done thus far this season (which is only 1 game I believe) and the loss of their Senior class last year.

You're welcome. I always go that extra mile for my Bethel friends.

You have friends? ;D

Fond memories, though after you changed your name to DJ Malpractice Suit people thought you were just trying to be more street. It's a shame really, I thought our second album could have gone aluminum.

Yeah, the name change went about as well as Prince's except worse. Do we still owe your cousin that dollar for making our sophmore album, "Yo Momma Can't Rap like We does"?

We better pay him that dollar or we'll end up somewhere outside of Columbus, OH with some kevlar, 5 loaded guns and a half empty bottle of Grey Goose.
