Switching gears and topic. Not much discussion if any this year on the Oles. They will have a pretty easy go up until Oct 7 at home vs the Johnnies.  At 3-0 now, with wins over Valley City State, Luther, and Hamline, and a suspected win over Augsberg, and Gustavus, how do people see them handling the meat of the season,  Obvioulsly the Johns will not even consider talking about a possible loss, but I would like to see what people think about their next 2 road games against CC first, and the Royals next.  I dont think Luther and Hamline provided much competition, but Valley City State in the DAC is a pretty good football team, and the Oles rolled over them on the ground. Any predictions on those 3 conference games?

Do you mean to say that in general the SJU/UST t-shirt aren't obscene?  They are ridiculously funny but it doesn't take 30 Bible credits to see they are obscene.

If they were obscene they would be illegal and people selling them would be prosecuted.  Get a grip.

Then there was Halloween when you and your buddies got dozens of eggs, headed to another neighborhood in town and hit every car that came by. Those were the days in small town Minnesota.

Small town?  Some assholes egged and scratched my car on Friday night in Minneapolis.

Duff, any chance you were by Auggie Tech when this happened?

I'm just wondering, is this outfit "obscene"?

Nope, but they were my first suspect ;)  Next on the list is Willy Wonka.

You know what they say...obscenity is in the eye of the beholder!  ;D
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

I would vote no, fins.  :)

And if you have any more like that, bring 'em on!

USTBench. You, my friend, are a connoisseur (had to look that one up too). I did not know about the Wheaton location, but I tried to avoid Maryland as much as possible.

Since I moved to Cheeseland, I don't have to search for Leinies. I satisfied my taste for fine brew with Yeungling when I lived there. Try it, you'll like it. I went with the lager, but they have other brews too.

My vote is that outfit is "recommended".

Was it W.C. Fields who said "Women should be obscene and not heard?"

I go to the one off of N. Washington, it's closer to my neck of the woods in Ballston. Yuengling is good but to get that Leinie's Honeyweiss taste I miss so much I go to the Rock Bottom Brewery and get the Heffeweisen. It's as close as they come out here.  But at Bailey's I can always be guranteed two things, original Leinie's on tap and my favorite Minnesota sports team on one of their 140 televisions.
