I'm pretty sure Fins didn't take that pic. If he were that close, he wouldn't be able to hold the camera still enough.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Yeah until you find out it's Sebastian Bach, former lead singer of Skid Row.

If I can, I'd like to make one thing clear;

4th-for the SJU people that are responding, I don't think I ever said anything good or bad about your team.

Hmmm ... let's try
QuoteI get it, you were one of the 200+ scrubs that go there each year to say you were on the team!

Is your explanation that you just sneered at the players and didn't say anything negative about the "team"?

Scrubby/"Coach" - Still waiting for your answer here.  You want to be all grown up and all, how about manning up to your comments?

Sometimes the truth comes off negative to the one it is directed at.  I'm sure Scrubby didn't know he was stepping on your toes.

Whoa Nelly

Enough juvenile bickering people.  I liked it more when I was sifting through Hamm's talk to find the occasion entertaining link/forward/football tid-bits than I do the playground arguments.

Has anyone heard any news on Radke - last I heard his shoulder felt "better" but still not great - is he scheduled to make any starts in the coming week?

A story I found on Ace and Gary...

Scrubby, if you would like to join the pick'em race, do so on this page here.  You're certainly welcome to put your picks up against others in this forum there!
SJU Champions 2003 NCAA D3, 1976 NCAA D3, 1965 NAIA, 1963 NAIA; SJU 2nd Place 2000 NCAA D3; SJU MIAC Champions 2018, 2014, 2009, 2008, 2006, 2005, 2003, 2002, 2001, 1999, 1998, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1991, 1989, 1985, 1982, 1979, 1977, 1976, 1975, 1974, 1971, 1965, 1963, 1962, 1953, 1938, 1936, 1935, 1932

Johnnie Red

Just got the okay from Terry, the owner of Mick's Office, that he will have the restaurant/bar/wateringhole open for Johnnie and Cobber fans Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. I told him that I and Cobbernation would do everything possible to have a huge turnout of fans from both schools.

Assuming you are coming from the south on 1-94, continue north on 8th street/HWY 75 past the Cobber (Jake) stadium. About a mile past the Jake you will hit the intersection with Main Ave. Mick's is one more block north and on the right hand side. It shares a parking lot with Taco John's.

Be there or be square. Sounds like Mick's Office has great burgers and plenty of adult beverages.

Didn't know about the "Picks" section on here, thanks!!  I'll do my picks there for now on!

In regards to making negative comments about SJU, I still haven't.   All I said was that you (individually, not team) must have been one of the 200+ scrubs that go out for football and never see the field.  Didn't say anything neg. about team, just those "individuals" that never see the field.  And if I remember correctly, my comment followed some stupid a.ss remark you made, that's all!!   And for Gods sack, bringing up man enough comments on this site is a real joke, starting with you!!

Scrubby41

PS-I have to assume that with 200+ players, only about 40 guys play at best.  I also will assume, no, I'm sure I'm right, that there are players that go to SJU to play football knowing they will never see the field!  Heck, theres alot of HS kids that go out for football just to be part of something, just say they were on a winning team!  I'm sure it happens at the college level too!

57Johnnie

Just for the record - I believe 51 Johnnies played last Saturday. If I'm not mistaken, if you are a senior, you are a team captain.
