Is the goal of the game to score points or accumulate yards?

How will you score if you can't accumulate offensive yards?

Fumble recoveries, interceptions, safeties...hanging w/ the chick in my avatar :-*

Jeremy Piven wore an avatar at the Emmy's. He's produced more offense than Gary Anderson.

BDB, I see they're not appreciating your posts over on the NWC PP (the guy from Hermosa Beach who said she was a 4/10 is obviously in need of medical attention).

As for Stout's game this weekend, I know you picked them to win - but will they cover????   :)

Damn, guess I shouldn't be away from the pages so long next time.  26 pages is way too much for me to pay attention to.

So, in reading the last 26 pages, this is my summary:  Bethel College is Bad, Tommies Suck, Johnnies Suck, Oles Suck, Pipers Suck, Macalester Sucks, Cobbers Suck, Auggies Suck, Northwestern Suck, and the Gusties are the greatest thing since Jean Claude Van Damme.  Did I get that right?  Like I said, 26 pages was too much for me to pay attention to and I may have not got all of the information correct.

Thought about hitching a ride up to Cobberland, but I picked up a new part-time job at Granite Bowl and have to work Friday and Saturday night...Bowling rocks.

Here is some awesomeness since I know all of you missed it:

You guys who have played in the rain at Concordia...does that field drain well or are we looking at a mud bowl?

I am in a tie for first in the WIAC Pick 'Em League, so I thought alot about this BlueDevil/ Whitworth (#17 rated) match-up.

I guess the Pirates have a 6'7" tight end that is the truth.

Plus, after playing the Statesmen and the Peacocks the idea of playing the Pirates is scary.  :D

But, after hearing the coaches talk at the Touchdown Club luncheon this noon, I picked my boyz.

So the mighty 8th grade Cathedral football team had their first game this past Tuesday against Holdingford.  The combined effort of the lightweight and the heavyweight team coached by yours truly led to a 60-0 loss.   It made me come home and pound a Milwaukee's Best Ice.

Hey JR,

Thanks.

You have to be careful, we take our MUD pretty seriously at MUC(K)! (That one's for you KR)

I knew you weren't serious?!  Were you?

Before I put these on E-Bay I'll give everone out there a chance to own one.

FOR SALE-

1000 slightly used Scott sprinklers. Guaranteed to have only been used once.

They barely have their first PFT,PFT,PFT,PFT,SHHHHHHHHH,PFT,PFT,PFT,PFT,SHHHHHHHHHH out of them.

Custom paint job in Cardinal Red.

Signed and numbered by a guy named "Carl" from the grounds keeping crew.

I also have a couple of boxes of 6" cleats that are great for airiating your lawns this fall.

Very collectible.

Classic, raiderguy-- very good post.

Just ensure you don't sell it to any buyer named "cmeidt" in Northfield, MN.  That would only fuel the other conspiracy theory.

C'mon, guys-- R.J. Jackson not being one of the best players in the league?  Here are the stats for all purpose yardage last year in the MIAC:

ALL PURPOSE        Team Cl  G Rush  Rcv   PR   KR  Yds Avg/G
------------------------------------------------------------
1. P.J. Theisen... UST  JR  9   57  998   91  359 1505 167.2
2. Phil Porta..... BU   JR 10 1559   75    0    0 1634 163.4
3. R.J. Jackson... CAR  SO 10  713  202  142  339 1396 139.6
4. Ricky Schreier. AUG  JR 10    4  766    0  505 1275 127.5
5. Jay Higgins.... STO  SO 10  619  498    0  142 1259 125.9

Not too bad, would you say?  If third doesn't qualify him, why should second qualify the esteemed Mr. Porta?

He alone pulls in 140 yards per game, and he plays for Carleton.  That qualifies in my book.

Frank,  Could you post a pic of your Bethel College is Bad T-shirt?

MR: Save yourself the embarrassment you continue to open your mouth with ludicrous statements.  Fins addressed you properly.  If you need further explanation I can add it.  Can you remind me of the Bethel College record at Collegeville?  Ok thanks...

BLONDE COWBOY

The Sheriff in a small town walks out in the street and sees a blonde
cowboy coming down the walk with nothing on but his cowboy hat, gun,
and his boots, so he arrests him for indecent exposure.

As he is locking him up, he asks "Why in the world are you dressed like
this?"

The Cowboy says, "Well, it's like this, Sheriff ... I was in the bar
down the road and this pretty little red head asks me to go out to her
motor home with her. So I did. We go inside and she pulls off her top
and asks me to pull off my shirt .. so I did.

Then she pulls off her skirt and asks me to pull off my pants ... so I
did. Then she pulls off her panties and asks me to pull off my shorts .
so I did.

Then she gets on the bed and looks at me kind of sexy and says, "Now go
to town, Cowboy..."

And here I am.

Son of a Gun, Blonde Men do exist.

If you consider SJU's travel roster as the first team and majority of the second team, there are 70 players there. The third and fourth teams would then include a player to matchup against each player on the 1st/2nd teams, adding another 70 players. If you also include special teamers and various "scrubs", that would bring out total to around 165-170 that actively participate in practice (not including injured players). There are 184 players on the roster.

WOW, makes me wonder how the 100 man roster WIAC teams are even able to hold a practice!  LOL!  :) ;) :D ;D

I know that this is a dead horse but you guys rack up the pages so fast it is hard to have a timely posting sometimes and I couldn't resist!
