That's so bad, it's not even worth a smite.Or, as they say on LLPP, that is so ghey.
Granite Bowl, huh? Was just there on Tuesday night with DanDan and your company bus. (Our 3rd of 8 stops) So, what do you do there, spray fungicide in the smelly shoes people bring back to the counter?

Frank,  Could you post a pic of your Bethel College is Bad T-shirt?

MR: Save yourself the embarrassment you continue to open your mouth with ludicrous statements.  Fins addressed you properly.  If you need further explanation I can add it.  Can you remind me of the Bethel College record at Collegeville?  Ok thanks...

You guys who have played in the rain at Concordia...does that field drain well or are we looking at a mud bowl?

This is about how well the field drains in Cobberville...

...tell me where in those 3 scenarios does offensive yardage come from?  To me, all those are defensive heroics.  All the points are coming from the D, so my original statement still holds water!

Anybody who has read Achilles original comment and followed this dialogue can tell you that my comment was not ridiculous!

Mighty Royal

Not to pick nits here, MR, but I only answered your question below, which is different than what you are spewing above.

How will you score if you can't accumulate offensive yards?

I'm guessing the lack of true game-day breakdown for Saturday's match in cobberland either means it was covered at nauseam earlier in the week or the final is a foregone conclusion....

No doubt a thick cut, mud and rain aids a plodding cobber team but it'll be almost impossible to stop the Johnnie backfield.  I would imagine Craig Luberts will be in good enough shape to at least match the cobber veer tackle left and right.  Just too much talent on the offensive side for SJU and a too dependable SJU defense...

I'm sure the Johnnies thought they had some talent in the backfield last year too for the game up in moorhead.  25 Rushes for -17 Yards!  Weber with 13 for -2!  There's only so much magic you can pack up on the bus and take to the Jake every year.

Chuck Norris is Gay?

BU Faithful

Let me see if I have this right.  It takes 200 to have an effective practice?  70 starters & backups + 70 guys for them to practice against + 40 special teams + 20 injuries and guys in the chem lab.

Given those requirements, how can any NFL team with a 53 man roster ever get it right?

DuffMan

Who the hell even cares how many guys SJU has on the roster?  If that's your fault to find in the program, get a life.  Like I said, how many of you have even coached a college football game, much less won over 400?  I think the big roster seems to be working just fine.

Frank, I'll look for the photo of your Bethel shirt.

MR,
Common sense, hmmm.  How would saying that a player that has been an all-conference player his freshman and sophmore years is one of the best players in the league be rediculous.  I'm pretty sure the criteria for being all-conference is that you are one of the best players at your position.  Talent wise, RJ IS one of the best players in the league, I'd put him up against anybody when it comes to speed/vision/cutting ability and big play potential.  Sure there may be better straight up running backs (Porta), but RJ doesn't get 20+ carries a game he is used more like a Reggie Bush type back (some carries, some receptions, some returns).  Also, stats don't necessarily determine how good/talented a player is.  I'm sure it's a lot easier to have big stats when you don't get touched the first 5-10 yds as it is when your team may not be as good and you have to break a couple tackles just to get 5 yds.  Either way, RJ would be one of the best players on any MIAC team he was on, which was the basis for my statement.

I think I'll go along with the former MIAC rushing title king on this one, he knows of what he speaks ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
