Looks like a great day to sit inside and listen to the game..... unfortunately I get to go stand out on a golf course in Foley to watch my brother run CC.  I should be a good time but I don't own a portable radio that is capable of picking up AM, so I won't get to listen to anything but the final when its texted to me >:(  Have a great day everyone, good luck to all teams and Go Johnnies!!!

If the Knights & the Scots both won by a MONKEYSTOMP last week would that be called a DOUBLE GEEK STOMP?

Now this week said teams play for the BOOK of KNOWLEDGE and one team puts a STOMPOUT on the other team is than then known as a BK STOMPOUT??

Next question, if you put a MONKEYSTOMP on a team the previous week then have a MONKEYSTOMP/STOMPOUT put on you by another team the next week is that a DA JA VU STOMPOUT?? or as TDT would perhaps say a "VU STOMPOUT" TDT loves that place, even though he still can't find a date ;)

Any help in my interpretation of the MONKEYSTOMP VOCABULARY  would be appreciated

I have been absent for a week and only have 40 pages of catching up to do.  Hopefully I can get through the 40 pages before this game is over...

KR: I forced you to drink?  Nah, be honest, you had to drink to make the Bennies look good, including none other than Ms. Jacobsen...  :o

TDT, does your mom know you feel this way?  Or, perhaps more importantly, your dad?:o

Any idea who is kicking this weekend for the J's? Is the Merry-Go-Round still spinning?

Duffman, to my knowledge there is no "kicking" coach on the staff with any real life (i.e.: who was once an All American kicker) status...what gives on that front? For all the stress this brings is there anyone else who gets pissed about blocked PATs besides me?

With 150 kids (some All-State H.S. kickers) why all the drama every couple years? Remember Keller wasn't automatic out of the gates either. Thoughts anyone??

I am not biased at all  ;), but I would go with Anthony Schmidt.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.

Today on my 1st day of my cardiology rotation, I got to put a pacemaker in pretty much by myself!

I "helped" my attending physician put the first one in then he had me do 90% of putting the 2nd one in.

Best news of all, both patients are doing great and still alive as of 5:13 PM tonight!

That must have been pretty awesome.  I've always asked to be kept awake during surgery so I can watch.  They have yet to comply. >:(

Hey All,

Gagliardi and St. John's just shown on ABC as part of the College Coach of the Year feature today.

Good to see a little national recognition for any small school.
I didn't do it....yet.

Johnnies starting out slow as usual - still 0-0

Remember folks, he used to be a coach ::)

Scrubby, think what you'd like, but if Bethel should happen to make it through the rest of the season unscathed, SJU will put a world of hurt on them.
Yeah, gonna kill em Just like last time Bethel played at Collegeville in '03!  more like worldofhurtville!  They blow everyone out at worldofhurtville, especially unranked Eau Claire!  Bethel, Olaf and Cordie might as well quit now before they have to play in worldofhurtville again!

AO, I have never responded to one of your posts.  Always felt it was a waste of finger movement to do so.  But since I am still in pain from my surgery, a little cranky and have nothing better to do in the circumstances (except listen to the Johnnies -
Cobbers in what looks like a very competitive game), I am responding.

There have been some really stupid posters on this site.  To the best of my recollection everyone of those idiots at least once said something that added to the conversation and/or was funny.  I mean funny in the sense it was humorous.  Your are sometimes funny in your extreme stupidity.

(Even SofaKing made me chuckle a couple times.)

Your jealousy over the success of SJU's football program is beyond ridiculous.

This is a free country.  I would never tell you to stop posting.  I would ask you to think about what you post before you do so.  Maybe you'd like to start by reminding all of us what happened to SJU after that tough victory over BU in 2003
