do NOT under any circumstances rip my boy Tony Kornheiser.  He is perhaps the best personality on a sports broadcast today.

Bennie, my most sincere apologies.  That was the vicodin talking.   ::)

When are you going to make it to a game in C'ville?

Sure, blame it on the drugs! ;) I might get home next year. Going home in the fall is always tough. It took John making history three years ago for me to be able to convince the powers that be to let me take time off. School here is such a late start (yesterday was the first day of classes), that it throws everything off!! :D

The fifth annual celebration of everything Lebowski is this weekend. I was there two years ago as the Seattle Seven. "It was me and six other guys." The real Dude shows up at every event. It is a must for every Lebowski fan.

"I'll suck your *ock for a thousand dollars?"
"I'm going to go find a cash machine."

Living out here in Washington DC where Kornheiser used to reign it's interesting seeing how people have taken his new found stardom. They're not fans to say the least. Even the new sports radio in the morning out here, the Sports Junkies, who have admitted to having been real fans of Kornheiser are disappointed in him as of late. He really just looks tired. The constant travel, coming up with a column, PTI everyday, the radio show and now Monday Night Football, the guy might think about slowing down a little bit so he can get back to being the "old Tony."

Or perhaps just flying to a game rather than having a special bus ala Madden ...

Glad I won't be there this week...  8)

RE: Not Flying

This is something that TDT has never understood.  Why are people scared to death to fly?  Have they had a traumatizing experience that has led to no "air time"?  I mean TDT would much rather get in the bird and be someplace in a 3 hours instead of 30 hours in the car/bus.  I am of the belief that you must confront your fears head on and once you have done that the fear slowly dissipates.  Then there are some folks i.e. John Daly who don't like flying so they take the decked out RV around the country, yet when there is $$ to be made (sponsors appearances, talk shows, etc.) or a big tourney abroad they get on the bird and FLY there (see: British Open and Qatar Masters in Dubai).  Am I missing something here?  Help me out...

Re: Tony Tony Tony

Fellas, he will reign supreme again on MNF when he breaks out the Penguin dance.  I know the PTI followers feel me on this...

Well JP, it'll be more like 12 to 12:30, but I was waiting to get the full slate ready before I announced it. >:(
Just wait 'til I get the next scoop at SJU and blast it on here before you guys are ready to announce it. :P

My bad fins. My information was internal, however.

I give Daly a pass.  There are few things in golf cooler than seeing his rig parked in the Hooter's lot on Washington Rd. in Augusta, Ga., where he sits in the lot with a cool bevvy and the real people . . .  as the snooty set drives by with disapproving glances.

Football and politics really don't mix. The tailgate should be about fun and drinking, not telling mistruths to obtain votes, by both parties.
Does anyone want George Ryan at the tailgate?? :o

Hey ZIP - finally heard from you. Same reserved seat this Sat. or will you be at 56321?
