Remember, too, KR, that Ramler spent time as a QB coach at SJU in 2002 :o

I'm pretty sure that most of the call will be coming from the sidelines.  It doens't matter if Ramler knows everything we do, though, Carleton will still have to execute better than us to win the game!

Thanks for drinking my share, too, KR ;D

I think Duffman is afraid of crowds....

Camping?

I know you're a tough and tumble lumberjack hailing from Brooklyn Center, but camping on homcoming weekend?

I say Duffman comes back engaged...

Dusty,

Brooklyn Center???  I've never lived in Brooklyn Center in my life.  In fact, I've only lived in the cities for less than 2 years!  I did live in Brooklyn Park for 6 months, but that was over a year ago.

And I think you brought out these bold predictions about an engagement for Duffman last year...and were wrong.  I'm still holding out for one of your brood to reach legal age.  God knows there are enough of them ;)

I'll be back in full force for the remainder of the season.

Going by JEsq's line and the Pick'ems so far, it looks like most people are predicting an SJU monkeystomp on Saturday.
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it happening.

As a sidenote, I love remembering games where Notre Dame gets pounded at home.

Oh, Wonka, you're gonna have to do much better than that.  I lived in LA for ten years and worked in a firm that used to be general counsel for USC (the law school building was named after one of our partners), so you can't say anything I haven't heard.  (Of course, it was during ND's 13 year unbeaten streak over the Trojans so the smack was pretty weak.)  Still, as Johnnie fans know, envy goes with the territory.  And as Bud Wilkinson (Minnesota's own) once observed, as long as its big news when you lose rather than when you win you're doing okay.

Oh yeah, wearing the Delaware helmet and dressing up like the skunkbears does't make GA into Michigan.  But I guess you can always pretend.

Chuck Noris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".

Here's a story!

The most difficult fight of Chuck Norris' storied career pitted his left testicle against a buffalo in a cage match. Chuck was born right-testicled, but he spent countless hours training to make himself ambitesticled so as not to have a weakness in battle. Despite that, the toughest part of the match was that the rules stipulated that Chuck was not allowed to actually enter the cage. Chuck was forced to stand outside and push his testicle through the bars. 14 hours into the fight, Chuck's testicle landed a roundhouse kick that put the buffalo into a coma. Chuck vowed then and there never to fight with his testicle again.

Dang, seems like last year the posts were about football.  These last few pages have all been a bit personal.  Methinks folks may be spending too much time on these message boards.

Onto gridiron, will Crees do the job well this weekend.  I read in one of the articles that G jr said he does some things well and others not.  Anyone know his strengths?  What we are to expect this weekend?

OZ, After being gone and hearing about the situation at QB , this was my question as well. My impression of Crees, based on a limited amount of playing time is, He probably has a stronger arm than Kofoed but can't throw the touch pass as well. Not sure of his running abilities, although the J's don't ask their QB to do too much in this area. It will be very interesting to see how he performs this weekend.

Next question, for those of you that went to the Auggie Tech game, if Crees gets hurt who is next in line?
