Typical Meidt in St. Peter today.

Leadin 34-13 after the Gusties scored on a miracle 97-yard pass play with around 5 minutes left in the game, the Oles put their 1st strong offense back in after sitting for two possessions I believe. First play bomb for a touchdown. Back to the bench.

He had another chance to score late in the game, with under two minutes to play. With GAC having and not using its timeouts, he called off the dogs. With 25 seconds left.

Classy guy.

Wow!!

Obviously the Cobbs are down this year, but I never thought the Auggies were quite that bad. If they keep their fingers in the dike, I think Coach Haege "might" be able to turn the Augship in the right direction. It certainly appears Carleton is heading in the right direction.

I think the Cobbers putting in Jesse Nelson in at QB is a good move. Although he's on the smallish side, 5-10, 5-11, he's a got a good feel for the offense having played it throughout high school.
