One of my co-workers just stopped by my office to show me the new lip balm that she bought. "Minty Frikkin Mullet Lip Balm", it is peppermint schnapps flavored! I may have to go get myself some after work! I wonder if they have some in Fin's Kool Aid flavor or Hamms flavor?

So, who is making the trip to Northfield this weekend?  The Wickster sent out an invite to pre- and post-game festivities.  Let me know if you haven't seen it.  Does anyone plan on doing this, or would a pre-game bar visit be more appropriate?  DuffMan might be flying solo right now (not sure how things will shape up), so PM me if you're interesting in car-pooling from the metro area, or if you just have a suggestion for a pre-game drink (I won't post your PM on the board for all to see because that is against the rules ).

I'm hoping to make it to Northfield and the pre-game festivities the Wickster sent out the invite about.  Depends on the weather and the pain level in my leg.

The La was nothing to write home about....Sals was a blast.......Ran into Frank's Ladies, and "Red" knew how to dance!!!

I had too many Hamm's at the La to make it over to Sal's.  Thanks to Dusty for bringing the lovely ladies to the Stiftungfestivities.  They were a welcome addition and you should invite them every time.

New to this but for all the Johnnies fans, good place to get food/beer in Northfield is the Reub or Froggy Bottoms, both a 10-15 minute walk depending on your state. Quick question, did Carleton really look that good or did St. Johns have a bad game?

Thanks for the heads up on the Dine/Drink options- are they both "Downtown" Northfield, like closer to Carleton?

Combo platter on the Knights. If C.C. Knight was still in the backfield it could have been a "L" for the Johnnies,but he graduated and is now a "Has Been" but the Knights are not to be taken lightly. The Johnnie "D" looked in the first half that just showing up in uniform would be enough to stop the Knights, they soon found out Ramler had his boys ready to play. The Johnnie "O" was a little sloppy -i.e. 3 Picks- I'm sure this week's film session was not much fun.

BTW how is the watering of the field coming along? Have the sprinklers been running non-stop since Saturday afternoon?

Thanks for the info on Carleton and yes, the bars/restaurants are in "downtown" northfield closer to Carleton's campus. Right off of highways 19 and 3.

Also, regarding the sprinklers, nice to see that the excuses are already coming in for the Johnnies. Should be a long bus ride home.
