If you look at STO stats, you'll see that they ran the ball for good yardage in the first two games, when they had the good running back.  They have since not been able to run the ball and have had to rely on the passing game.  The last game they played they had alittle over 100 yards and that was by a back up QB in the 4th qrt.  Less than 100 yards each in the two games before that one.  I'd agree that they have a good passing game, QB and the Gant kid!  I'd have to say that SJU will figure that out!!

STOLAF 155 passes, 180 rushes, 335 total plays. The extra rushing attempts must come in mop up time or when they were trying to run out the clock?

St. Olaf is all about PASS these days!!

expressiing an opinion is perfectly fine, but ideally it should have some validity/merit...otherwise, we'd assume you're AO's old man or something   :D

Scrubby, I think your right that SJU already knows through film what Olaf has for them, and they will be prepared.  I just think Olaf has been playing a little more consistantly then SJU.  And it pisses me off that Koefed will be back full speed when they play Bethel, and the Oles RB will return by then I hear when  they play the Bethel.  Give me a break.

Scrubby41

...I stand corrected!

Hamline, second worse team in the miac, STO rushes for 62 yards on 27 carry's=2.3 yards per carry

Aggie's=worse team in miac, STO rushes for 230 on 40 carries (165 yards by back ups in the 4th qrt)

Gust=STO rushes 116 on 33 carry's, over 80 yards in final two drives by back up QB and running back of a blow out game!!

I'd say the running game is not that good since game #2 of the year!!

Royal,

I haven't seen BU play now for a couple of weeks, but I see they had another great defensive effort vs. St. Thomas.  I would like to see both teams at thier best when they play, then there is no crying over who played and who didn't!!  My understanding from what I heard after the Concordia game is that BU hasn't had everyone back yet either!  Yet, I haven't heard anyone visit about that over the past several weeks!  BU, from what I've watched (two game now) will be o.k. defensively.  If Porta and the QB can get his act together, BU will give both STO and SJU good games!!

Besides the fact that Meidter's a prick and your obvious dislike of Um Ya Ya, why do the majority of you hate St. Olaf so much?

MIACMANAIC,

Unless the stats are wrong at the MIAC website, my FACTS are right on.  If you need help reading them, let me know!!

royalachilles

Yep, on the Oline, Ryan Wassink still is not health.  Last week was the first week that the Royals had everyone back but the team is about 80%.  This week everyone feels close to 100% and I think we will see a better show.  Get a big win tommorow, grab the bye week, and we should be ready to go the rest of the way

Scrubby41

Royal,
Did you play at BU?  My grandson is looking at BU, other MIAC schools as well, and would like your take on the program, other than what I've seen from a distance!  St. Olaf and SJU are the other schools that have shown an interest in him and have watched him play!

royalachilles

No, but someone close to me does.  I will talk to you about BU athletics anytime, se me a PM on it sometime and I will fill you in...

and OldGold I thought the song was Um Gawa ???

Can any STO people tell me what kind of crowd there will be tomorrow?  I'm trying to decide if I leave St. Cloud around 10 and get there around noon if I'll be able to still get a seat.  Also, where are the best places to park on campus?  Thanks!
