Yup, neither Olaf or Bethel have snowball's chances. At least you're finally seeing the light ;)

I bet those tickets will sell for tons on the street!

Actually, I would think Twins world Series tix from a year they didn't make it would be worth a lot down the road on Ebay as a sort of novelty item.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I'm a bit nervous-- the Jays have not played a "great" game yet, the school is on a break, we're banged up, we're playing two frosh linebackers, and the Oles are looking for revenge on their homecoming.

But this is why I'm optomistic:

Considering the Oles haven't yet played any of the other top two passing offenses yet, and they're already last in the conference in pass defense, OUCH.  If the wind allows the pass, it could be like last year!!!

Well the Oles are up early, and there wearing DEPENDS,  I guess they are trying to avoid sack rot.  Gonna be a little wet out there I hear.  One of the equiptment guys called me and told me he overheard Meidt talking to his recievers before getting taped this a.m.  And I quote...  Um Gawa, Sawa ka na yata sa kakarining nitong no "to eh!"  yan nag sign na ako sa guetbook mo good luck na lang sa pag GAWA mo nito and have fun!!!  And then he grabbed his vine, and left the building.   The gipper would be proud....  Go Johnnies, I cant wait to get the hell beat out of us by you, GOODNIGHT

Kilted Rat-

That's exactly what I meant (that this year's Ole team is much better than the '04 team).  The Johnnies basically handed the Oles the game on a silver platter, and St. Olaf failed to lose the game.  The Ole eams of the past two years would have put up a few more than 21 points in an 8 turnover game I think.  I certainly think the Oles have the potential to win today (based partly on the accounts on this board suggesting that the SJU might be having a relative down year in which they are merely very good, and not the usual insanely good), but I doubt it will be a blowout in their favor.

The White Silly

...first off, i think today the Oles are going to put the stamp on the Johnnies definitively to the tune of 31-10, thats right you heard it here...second off royal achilles why so much downrooting of your own team?  I don't understand I guess...third off AO is my boy...fourth off go auggies!

Wonka,

I can confirm the gentleman of which you speak is a '77 Cobber.

No festivities today.  Johnnie Red has other commitments for the AM.
No free meal for Gusties today.  ;)

I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Wow, I've never seen someone make 4 comments that made them appear so unintelligent all in the same post.

also if you need help understanding the basic concepts of the game today, I'm sure many of the posters on here can update you on changes since you last had a meaningful role in the game.

The helmets are no longer made of leather! It's amazing, they're made of this plastic like material that is really tough and durable!

Wait, what? I thought that was why the NBA had to go to the composite ball that has Shaq Fu all riled up...

Cobbernation - Look for an old, baldy man standing 6-4 and 240ish with glasses at the game tomorrow. If you hear people say "The Count," that will be my pops with his college teammates. He's a '77 grad I believe and will know Willy Wonka if you name drop. He'll want the inside scoop on the Cobbers, if you're willing to share.

I will definately look for "The Count"!!  I will tell him everything there is to now about to Cobbers.

For post #300
