Touchdown Tommy

Godfather: I have marked the calendar.  I will be in attendance.  Will there be libations?  Will you be singing kareoke into the wee hours of the morning?  Need to make sure you are in tip-top shape for Saturday morning in Collegeville...

FYI: Very sad and briefly scary day in NYC with the plane crash on the Upper East side.  After watching some Fox News for the latest, I heard something that some of you might be interested in.  Remember in 1979 when the late, great Thurman Munson of the Yankees died in a plane crash practicing take-offs and landings at Akron-Canton Airport.  Well that is the airport we flew into in 2001 for the game at MUC(k).  Just thought that was a crazy/odd coincidence since most people don't make it thru Akron-Canton in their life's travels.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

TT

A couple of thoughts...I saw the Munson plane after the crash. He was trapped in the plane and the instructor couldn't get him out in time.

Second..autographs! that will be great but I think you should be prepared to admit you bet on baseball.

How much are you charging?

By the way I found a place that still sells Hamms thirdy packs. In of all places New Prague!
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

raiderguy

FYI for all.

I have received the "shipment" from JR and there will be two Carver County Deputies posted 24-7 outside my door until we transport the "shipment" to Collegeville on Saturday.

Oh, I have the burgers too!

I grew a little over an hour away from the Akron-Canton airport and never went through it.
I did go see the Pro Football Hall-of-fame in Canton though!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Thirty packs are all over in the northern suburbs.  According to the missing Frank Rickard, thirty packs are still sold where Hamm's Light has not been offered.

A tradition unrivaled...

Johnnie Red

DutchFan, great to hear from you. Yes, I did make it to more than two Johnnie games when I was a student at SJU. My conflict on Saturdays was being away from campus at cross-country meets in such exotic places as Decorah (Luther), South Bend (Notre Dame) and Northfield (St. Olaf).

Raiderguy, thanks again for helping transport the Stiftungsfest burger to Collegeville this Saturday. Make sure you closely guard the Paris Hilton cd so I get it back for the Piper game next week.

Veek, Fins and/or Duffman, one of you will need to bring the hamburger buns and some ketchup/mustard. May also want to bring some cheese for the burgers. I would get about nine dozen buns, presliced. Thanks for your help.

Johnnie Red

I almost forgot! TT, there will be plenty of libations at the Johnnie Red re-election party. Cash bar, so bring along some money. Anyone on this board who would like to attend is certainly welcome. Send me an email if you are interested. Duffman and Finsleft will be getting personal invites in appreciation for their financial support of my re-election efforts. As always, it certainly makes things easier when I don't have an opponent. Comparable to the Johnnies playing Bethel. ;)

DuffMan

Fins and Veek, tell me what to bring to help out.  When is everyone getting there?

Looks like the meat will arrive with a purple-clad escort. I've got charcoal and buns and ketchup. I don't know, what else do we need? Mustard? Chips? Cheese? Dessert? Jello shots?

Who's coming? Pick an item.

Looks like 9 at the earliest for me, shooting for no later than 9:30. Grills lit at 10. Any Gusties coming?

I voted for Ramler.  Quite deserving, in my opinion, considering what he inherited, when he inherited it, and what he's done.  No other coach in the conference, given what they had coming back (Porta and an OL at BU; receiving corps at Stolaf; SJU reloads), should be laying claim to this award.
