I always introduced mine as "my future ex-wife".

How prophetic. 8)

Now I just refer to her as "The Petitioner".  :D

Do they sell it in the Lutheran section at Westside?  I can pick some up.  ::)

Chuck Norris will never have a heart attack. His heart isn't nearly foolish enough to attack him.

Quality control alert!  :P

Is this a sign that you're running out of material, MR?  We can only hope.   ::)

Coming to you live from my daughter's computer at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here in Buffaloland.

I must be living right. As I was getting out of my seat on the plane this morning, I noticed that the guy sitting at the end of the row had a Gopher shirt on. I asked him if he went to the U. He said "No, I went to St. John's." I immediately shook his hand and told him I was a Johnnie. He graduated in `90. He then points to the guy sitting in the row in front of us and said it was his brother, but that he was a Tommie. :P They were both here to go elk hunting with their dad.

sjusection105, have a great time at the Octoberfest in New Ulm. I have been to the event a few times and really enjoyed it.

Raiderguy, given the day your bride was born on, I know you have a keeper. :D

JR-
Tell your new Johnnie friend to show up at a game with some fresh elk sausage for us. That would be sweet. :)
Other than the usual sausages who will be in attendance, our non-hamburger edible options for tomorrow have taken a turn for the worse...developing...

If brats are needed, I can definately pick up some from Manea's here in Sauk Rapids unless Veek is bringing them.  Let me know.

And I did convince the wife that a St. John's game is the perfect way to spend our anniversary so the both of us will be in attendance tomorrow.

Four married guys go to a football game.

At the Stiftungsfestivities, the following conversation took place:

First guy: "You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out to the game this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I will paint every room in our house next weekend."

Second guy: "That's nothing; I had to promise my wife that I will build her a new deck for the pool."

Third guy: "Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I will remodel the kitchen for her."

They continue sipping their Hamm's when they realize that the fourth guy has not said a word. So they asked him, "You haven't said anything about what you had to do to be able to come to the game this weekend. What's the deal?"

Fourth guy: "I just set my alarm for 6:30 am . When it went off, I shut off my alarm, gave the wife a nudge and said, "Football game or Sex" and she said, "Don't forget your coat and hat."

Does anybody know how to post an audio file?   Fins, I would like to post your marriage horse race, but am not sure how to do it.

Important Update:

The Carver County deputies had a restless night. For some reason word has leaked (there will be an investigation) that there is a Valuable Cargo at my home and the drive by traffic in the neighborhood has really increased. They were on alert and there haven't been any incidents yet but it is a little scary.

I received a call from Mr. Phelps of M. I.(no tapes in the mail box this time, too risky) offering assistance with security but I told him we had everthing under control at this point.

So the precious cargo is safe.

Oh and the burgers are OK too.

Developing.

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

During these troubled times people of all faiths should remember these four fundamental religious truths:

1.   Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.
2.   Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
3.   Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the  Christian world.
4.   Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.

It's certainly worth posting.   8)
