Hey folks,

As many of you know, former SJU All-American d-lineman Ryan Weinandt is head football coach at Dassel-Cokato.  His running back, Evan Abrahamson, has a run that is up for Kare 11 Prep Sports Hot Highlight of the Week.

You can go and vote for him at: http://www.kare11.com/sports/prep/prep_hot-highlights.aspx?a=1266743

Thanks!

Thanks Duff,
The results show that this clips needs about 500 more votes to "win" this week.
BTW: for anyone who wants a little trivia, former Johnnie QB Phil Kern came out of Dassel-Cokato.

Ryan has done a great job in a short period of time to bring the Chargers from the basement of the Wright County Conference, the toughests 3A conference in the state, to being in every game. His numbers are up and kids actually want to play football again. Way to go Ryan!

Phil was the Linesman for the St. Anthony game a few weeks ago.  Make that another one of Gagliardi's players who has turned on him...

Dassel is doing well this year-- unfortunately, they are in Becker's section.  Ouch.
Johnnie-Esq.
Don't forget "COKATO"- without "D-C" they wouldn't be called the CHARGERS ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

My error and apologies to the entire town of Cokato.

I sense that is a sore spot out there....  ;)

105: Go talk to Pigpen this week at practice.  Nov. 11th Stiftungsfestivities would be a good day to have big #77 join us.  Work on this and please report back to MIAC PP.

Well, the reefer in the Pace

Am I the only one that didn't read this as refrigerator the first time through? ;D With all the lawyers at the tailgate, it is either very risky or explains it all. Then I reminded myself that this is St. John's, not Mac or Carleton! :D ;)

Since most of yous guys all know each other, I'm offering
a suggestion for those of us not in the know....
the written blurgs help us old rats recognize a face w/ a name.

I'm the good-looking guy in red.  8)

BTW, ROR did you photoshop edit out all of the jello shot pics? All I see are a bunch of people drinking soft drinks out of red cups or coffee out of mugs from some filling station in Wisconsin. ???

None of the pictures I got from tmerton had jello shots.

When I find some time maybe I can photoshop some in.

Do you have any pics from last week?  I can put them up with tmerton's.

We have a winner! No more calls, please! Today's lucky contestant is DUFFMAN from Crystal, Minnesota.

This got me thinking...although it has been many, many, many years since reefer meant anything to me but fridge, the PA was probably within 100 feet of the spot where I first smelled the other, I'm guessing 33 years ago. But then, that was the 70's, and if you remember them, you probably weren't there.  8)

Guilty with an explanation -- both the quality and number of pictures decreased following my ingestion of several of said jello shots.  Let's just say I lost some focus.  :-[

That's what you get when you leave important tasks to amateurs.  8)

Does anyone know why the ARETE Awards has been taken off the list of programs featuring St John's/Gags? If it's still is on the calendar, note that it may be at different times in different parts of the country. For example, in the Milwaukee market, it's on at 2pm.

They have a running back? D-C's quarterback had the third most passing yards in the state a few weeks ago. They are one of my region teams that I cover. They've had a nice season and have a big game tonight with Glencoe-Silver Lake.

johnnie_esq

I think D-C has Litchfield tonight.  Watertown-Mayer has GSL.
