That would only be if we got a good clean shot at you! Remember to cross the street in a pack...and look both ways! ;) ;D

Cobber/UST;

Unfortunatley the mighty have fallen, look for a stunning Tommie victory in Moorhead.

If anyone is interested I can relay the chant we shared as we rumbled west in our RV drinking red wine and swallowing Copenhagen, it's enough to make me throw-up writing about it...

As for BU/STO;

STO is on a heavy upswing and despite BU's renewed play the Ole's have shown to be a worthy opponent and will not waste time going up by at least 28 at halftime.

Tommie goes into next weekend vs Johnnie with fire in their belly and looking for the most important victory in club history... too early to predict October 28th however I can tell you now it'll be tight... maybe 2003 tight with a field goal deciding.

In other news Frank grabs a helmet and leads GAC to a last second victory over MAC... it'll be close.

Developing.....

I wish I could disagree with your prediction of the cobber / tommy game...but I'm not sure what to expect saturday.  I'm pretty confident Horan will have them fired up, but it looks like the Tommies have improved somewhat from last year.   The thing that scares me the most is the big play threat that Thiesen poses, assuming he's playing saturday - if history has shown us anythign this year, its that our secondary isn't the greatest ever assembled.

The other thing that bugs me is that I can't really pinpoint a major reason as to why the cobbs have dropped off so much this year.  A guy could point to the absence of Schumacher, but that alone wouldn't cause this big of a drop.

My theory is that it has something to do with North Korea going nuclear.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

We have some survivors. That mystery tray is still being chilled for this week. There could be a repeat performance if you think it would be beneficial. Lutherans or no Lutherens J-E-L-L-O never plays favorites.

I passed around part of a partial tray at "The La" after the game.

J-E-L-L-O "Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, always a winner!"

Cord Glory;  Schumacher was all world, the likes of who will not be seen in the MIAC for sometime.  In a somewhat similiar manner to our beloved BE he could absolutley dominate and control a football game.  I'd take him as my QB any day.  He is the reason.

TDT;  Can you say, "we want, moor - head, we want, moor - head"..... picture that as you zoom westward as a college senior.... the prairie holds many time honored secrets....

Done.

Whoa Nelly

Cord Glory,

I think the ultimate reason for the Cobbers play this year is the crappy job you did mowing my yard and cleaning my bathroom your freshmen year during two-a-days - and I was even nice enough to bring out bug spray.  I know it seems like a long time ago and completely irrelevant, but this is all your doing.

Are you living in the Twin Cities now?

Respectfully yours,

Congrats to Jamie Steffensmeier, Kirby Carr, and P.J. Theisen who are all semifinalists for the Draddy Trophy.

3 from the MIAC is pretty impressive!

Ahh...its seems like just yesterday.

Moving up this weekend - we should hang out.  It would be like old times...but I'm not moving your lawn, or cleaning up red hair from your bathroom floor.   Just thinking about that makes me want to vomit.

The only way Meidt beats Gags is in a footrace or in a classless a$shole sanctioned cock-off.

As president of the club, would TDT be the judge? ;) ;D

I think the answer to that question is an obvious yes!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I understand Meidt is down in Naples, FL as we speak, looking for more Ole "recruits" (22 FL kids on the roster is not enough).

Bennie: Ask KR.  It is true.  The statistics for accidents among Link Drivers during our tenure were as follows: Bennies 57 Johnnies 0

RE: Coach of the Year

Keep this in perspective fellas.  Meidt will be on his couch in November/December, Gags will be prowling the sidelines and scheming against the D3 elite.

RE: Jello Shots

I like the addition.  This should become a weekly Stiftungsfestivities staple.  Discreet enough not to draw the ire of the hated rent-a-cops, yet potent enough to wake everybody up.

Tmerton: Need to know your law specialty of which I inquired about yesterday...
