Soccer is the sport invented by parents who chow on granola and, eat orange slices, and sip on Capri Sun.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

We now have legal disclaimers at the bottom of certain posts-OH YEA. 8)-Fins are you on retainer for the MIAC posters??

Yes Zip. I recognize this board for what it is...a new vertical market for my legal skills. For a low, low price, I will design for you your own custom disclaimer for use on all posts. This offer not available in stores.

Sorry, I don't own Paris Hilton's cd.....

And a luckier and wiser man you are for it.  It's JR's only weakness.

From the MIAC Weekly Notebook this week:

The Gustavus football team will play its final game at Gustavus Stadium/ Hollingsworth Field this Saturday against Augsburg.  The Gusties have played on their current field since 1905 and it is the 15th oldest field in Division III and the oldest collegiate field in Minnesota. Gustavus is in the process of building a new stadium and the team will begin playing on that field next September

Will Mike Miller be on hand to roll his dusty old leather helmet into the newly created hole at the ground breaking ceremony?

Could desecrating the 15th oldest football field in Division III be a bad omen for GAC?

... better have a catholic priest on hand.

I'm pretty busy at the moment suing OAS for using my shots on the stiff-tongue.com site and giving credit to "ROR, Duffman, Dusty and various other websites"
Is there a Johnnie with computer skills who can take this thing over?

But back to your issue ROR, send me a substantial retainer and we'll see what my paralegal comes up with. I think we might have a better chance proving that you're old enough to have taken the photo in tmerton's avatar. ;)

By substantial, I assume you mean  a terdy pack?  Not sure if I can find one around here.  Would a 24 + 6er work?

So quiet from the Tommie crowd in here (all 3 of you..)

Interesting Factoid here-----  According to my sources, a certain Dr. Mark Deinhart has been attending Tommie games with a higher frequency this year. (Did he have a falling out with Clem and Cheryl Littlejohn?

Is Rooney on the "Double Secret" Hotseat??

I know Im breaking the 2 consecutive post rule, but I came across this reading the WIAC board

QuoteI think team speed often hurts WIAC teams in the playoffs.  Its like the Big Ten in some respects.  You need beef to get through the tough plodding conference games, but other teams have conferences that are either less deepmore skill or more speed oriented and can afford smaller, faster players. In one game, that can be an advantage.

I have made addendums

That will do. I can see, this will be an open and shut case. :D

So Ritz, is that your form of discipline? Kid wears a hat in the hall and you take his hat and his retainer so he'll have crooked teeth all his life as punishment?

And this retainer trumps the one I left in the fridge of the PA? (Note: for Bennie's benefit, I have used the less nautical - and for her, less confusing - term to refer to the cooling device in the PA.)

What can I say, I live in hippieville out here!! And while I am a good Bennie/Catholic girl and do not partake, many around me have and do! ;D ;)
