I know Adam and his dad will be most appreciative.

Well said, ROR. Thank you.

I suppose I should have answered my own question:

MVP: Since the award usually goes to an offensive player and as Duff points out there are really no offensive standouts, might it be the right year for a defensive player to win it? Maybe Kirby Carr (no, I am not a Bethel rube, but the guy has had a big impact on every game I've seen him play and he has some nice stats this season). Otherwise, probably looking at Porta, Penz, or maybe one of the WR's (Gearman, Gant, Frank, etc)

Stam: Bechdol, McNamara, Gunderson

Coach: Again, agree w/ Duff that its Ramler's if they can finish strong-otherwise it will prolly go to Gagliardi

Tmerts — Hater in the house! DJ Gallo is my newest buddy. I trust you'll agree to disagree after reading the following piece.

I think I've had some of his family's wine.  Can't say I disagree with him too much - Jersey guys talk too much.

Does anyone have a status of Chris Tift for Saturday?

Pig Pen's squad rolls through the first round of the play-offs. Next up is Foley who is on an 8 game winning streak- who gave them their 1st loss this season? Pig Pen's squad. Who knocked them out of the play-offs the past 3 years? Pig Pen's squad. What awaits Pig Pen's squad should they knock Foley out again? Most likely Becker. Shane Potter is still out, right??
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Given the choice between Vin Diesel, Mr. T and Chuck Norris, I would have to go with Vin. But that is kind of like making me chose between Bethel, St. Thomas and St. Olaf. It is really a no win situation!! ;D  ;)

Chuck Norris Fact of the Day

The phrase 'balls to the wall' was originally conceived to describe Chuck Norris entering any building smaller than an aircraft hangar

GBFOTD:

Guy Bellair's testicles were bitten off by a nine-banded armadillo shortly after birth. His dad then went to this website and Guy was never the wiser.

I don't even want to know how you came across that site ;D

I think someone posted it on here a long long time ago.

I showed my father-in-law that weekend, which was coincidentally the same week that he had his new hunting dog neutered, and he damn near laughed his TDT off. Then we drank 3 more scotches and laughed again.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I'd say Ryan Wassink should be strongly considered for the Stam - he's be a dominating o-lineman for Bethel for four years - coincidentally the years Porta set the conference rushing record.

Yeah, I toyed with that idea, too.  When's the last time an o-lineman won it?  I'll be interested in seeing him play this year.  O-linemen never get noticed.  Probably because they're big, fat, and ugly.  Right, Ritz?  The real men play on the d-line. ;D

Ritz, I think Duff just challenged you to a "shot-gun off"...oh wait, you won't be there on Saturday, you'll be skinnin' mink. Nothing like the smell of dead mink in the air on a crisp autumn afternoon ;D

Last MVP from the defensive side of the ball was Brandon Novak in 1999.  I seriously thought Dumonceaux should have gotten MVP last year, but he ended up with the Stam.  Carr is a great player, but I don't see him getting MVP.  Since Porta broke the rushing record and there really is no front-runner, I would not be at all surprised to see him get it.

Cobber- that is one messed up dude. But does it really surprise you with two teams that don't like each other very much named the "Outlaws" and "Circle Raiders" playing in Philadelphia. I am seriously looking into moving to Ecuador, or Minot....

Then the referee gets charged with assault for punching the dude's brother- you can't make it up!

What do you expect from a guy that looks like that?  5-6 year olds?  Give me a break!  Football is supposed to be fun.

What do you expect from these dudes that have their children playing football at 10:30 on a Sunday morning? When I was those kids' age, my parents had me in church.
