Chalk another distraction up on Glen Mason's board

Guess what? Sid says firing Mason isn't the answer though!

Changing coaches is not the answer here.

What is needed is the building up of interest on campus like it was before the Clem Haskins basketball scandal developed. Maybe the new stadium will help recruiting.

The cupboard is not bare. This is a very young football team with not a single senior starting on defense and only three on offense.

Must be the apathy from all the drunk students that is making the FB team lose! ;D

The program might have a full cupboard, but it seems like mason is happy eating Ramen Noodles and drinking powdered milk...

Man, I can't believe there is a frickin' website to fire Mason.

A year ago he was the toast of the town when they beat Michigan.

I think his major problem is simple arrogance. He really comes across like a dick head sometimes.

I know some D-3 coaches that have worked his camps and he doesn't even acknowledge them. They volunteer their time and don't get as much as a handshake or even a damn t-shirt.  :P

I think "shock" of the town was more like it... I've been to the U coaching clinic for ten years in a row, and since he has been there, he shows up to do his little 15 minute talk and is invisible the rest of the weekend... Lockwood on the other hand is a great guy!

You mean the Jim Wacker of the New Era.... It only took him 4 years to lower Miami to a bunch of thugs and a mediocre team again.

True test of a DI coach is to see how he fares in years 3, 4, and 5 of his tenure.  This is the reflection of his recruiting, and how he was able to build a program....Then, how that coach can utilize the talent he has.

Avoiding redundancy, Mason cannot use his talent, and always gets outcoached in the 2nd half

The 3 years plan has only taken about 2 months to implement...

Go figure that consistancy and accountability lead to progress, seems to fit the conversation we are having now!

Sitting at my desk right now looking at some guy dumping water down his chimney.. Two thoughts...

1) He is a trained professional who is well versed in the chimney cleaning area, or

2) Some dumb bastard we will all be reading about in the news tomorrow and end up on "Stupid Humans"

In the metropolis of LF, I am going with #2, and will let everyone know when EMS arrives   ;D
