Retired Old Rat

Good to see the Johnnies were more successful than I was bird hunting. For the 4 of us, 0 geese in 6 hours in the morning, 3 pheasants in 3 hours in the afternoon Saturday.
Sunday: 1 goose, 2 ducks in 4 hours in the morning and 3 pheasants in 1 hour 15 min in the afternoon.

KR, that is your penalty for not being at UST.   ;)

I kill more geese in a day just driving through Woodbury.

KR, you must not have been in God's Country.  The guys I know that hunt out near Brooten have been limiting out on ducks regularily!

No KR on 11/11?  What is this world coming to?

Hey, where the hell is Admit?  He's all but disappeared lately!

I know, this responsability **** is getting old.

We were hunting near Willmar. Hasn't been a cold spell in quite a while, so no new ducks coming in and the ones that are there are scared sh*tless and will only land on large open water and unfortunately it was warm and near windless Sunday so they had no reason not to be on the big lakes.

time to get SILLY!!!...you know what I'm talkin' about Cheese, after all you gave full credit to the use of the White Silly as you used it to pull in numerous monster Rock Bass at Lake of the Woods....SILLY SURPRISE...i predict that Bethel is going to put the stamp on the Johnnnies...yes...believe it...although with the way things have gone the past few years i don't have much room to try to back that up at the present....but mark my words after 11/11...Bethel will be conference Champs!!! there D has been solid all year, no questions...and there offense is finding there Idenitity I believe...Wetzell rushes  for 6 Td'ers Porta adds 1 T.D. on a goal line plunge (finishing the day with 279) and Kirby Carr returns yet another INT (68 yards) for a teeder, he adds a fumble return on a 2 point conversion and Bethel walks away with a, deep breath, 63-17!!! Believe it Bia's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your thoughts? too outrageous to even get a response maybe?  GET TO KNOW IT!!! Gags is old...altough I do have a bobble head of his for some reason....Worthless...and as always GO AUGGIES...bring that dominant arena style offense back along with Yarzue SLOWon woooow....needers deeters....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa  Cheese...

I say the sooner we see a tender Beaver or a Beaver-less UWW the better.  I believe their starting FB also went down to injury vs MHB.

>:(

I would say that Dr. Dirk (or KR as 2nd choice ;)) should chime in on this one, but coming back from a broken collar bone for a hard charging RB is easier said than done. Justin Beaver is a great player, but I doubt he is back this year and if he is one wrong  hit & he is done.

Sh*tty news of the day: My first weekend day that I have to work for this rotation is Nov 11th. :'(

KR;  The greatest day of my life was when I received the final rejection letter of the half dozen or so medical schools I applied to... didn't have the intestinal fortitude.... or the smarts!

I think the 11th will be a great game.  Who knows about a play-off game?  SJU could lose to Bethel and not even get a play-off game.

Duffman;  I agree.  November 11th will be a great game and the forecast is for above average temps!

The best thing that could happen to the J's is a competitive game in their final stanza vs Bethel.  The worst thing that happened to the J's last year was playing two absolute push-overs enroute to an extremely exceptional UWW Warhawk team.

The 2007 schedule, including competitive season ending games vs UST and BU, will be a much better preparer for a postseason run.  We ain't no MUC, but hell, we don't have to  be!

Developing.... ;)

Silly, could you pass me whatever you're smoking?  The only way the Royals win that game is if SJU turns the ball over more than Porta fumbles.

They had better worry about beating Augsburg, first, or the game on the 11th won't matter.  Afterall, Bethel has been known to lose to a perennial MIAC bottom-dweller before.

You live in a house full of females, you have more then enough intestinal fortitude.

You went to SJU and you seem to be doing very well for yourself, plus you're intelligent enough to come to SJU football games and not let the house full of estrogen prevent it! That's smart enough!

Yeah, either way, getting in or getting rejected, it's a huge relief except one is a sentence for the next 7-10 years of your life!

Yarzou was five times the baller you were.  Also, I believe it was a giant smally on the now famous White Silly.  I do have several more White Sillies waiting to be employed next trip to LotW trip.

Does Gags even know he's at a football game anymore on Saturdays??  How about solids?  Can he still eat those?

He still knows how to win games and that seems to be all that matters.
