Lastly, the chances of BU losing to Auggie Tech this weekend has about as much chance as one of the Bethel students making it to the finals of Dancing with the Stars.......

Love the food challenges.

There was a steakhouse in Ithaca that did the "Old 49er".  Eat a 49oz steak, bread, potato and 2 sides (or something like that) and you got the meal for free and a spot on the wall of fame.  A buddy of mine did his Senior Video project about it....set it up as a spoof on Olympic coverage.  The training montages were the best, but then they actually had 2 guys square off.  Pretty nasty but funny nonetheless.

On another note....Johnnie posters, we need some help over on the NJAC board.  some of my IC boys have been gettin into it with Rowan and Monclair guys.  The Rowan guys have taken to the always fun argument of calling them gay (which seems to be lobbed at the Johnnies at least once a year).  Anyway - if anyone is bored and wants some fun heard over to the NJAC and E8 boards.  While you're there, drop some karma on my boys maxpower, jose, etc.  They're getting killed over there.

Probably the dirtiest license plate I have ever seen today...it read:

"HT CARL"

Who would pay to put that on their car?

VEEK??????

VEEK??????

Where ya at big man??

From the files of "Looking Out My Office Window":

Car pulls up and I notice one of our "NOT IN THE HONOR SOCIETY" students sitting in the front seat with what I gather is an older sister/aunt....As I watch out my window, this 7th grade student proceeds to take a drag of a cigarette, and get out to come to school, starts walking to the door with the CIG still in his hand......

In Little Falls, that is a 3 day vacation.  Best was the kids excuse......" I was just holding it for my sister, and I didn't want it to go to waste."

Ritzy: Veek has been going long periods of time this season AWOL.  Have no fear he'll be in Collegeville at 8am for the big tilt next week...Also, it sounds to me like you have your feet up on the desk in the corner office, posting on Post Patterns and playing solitaire.  Any truth to this?  Pretty sure we can keep it quiet Ritzy...  ;D

From Shooters' column today:

College football's all-time most-winning coach, John Gagliardi of St. John's, turned 80 Wednesday. "Just happy to still be here," Gagliardi said.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Also from Shooter's column today:

SI.com in support of Gophers football coach Glen Mason: "How is it possible the Gophers have been to more bowl games in the past seven years (six) than they had their entire previous history? And how it is possible that Minnesota has more former tailbacks in the NFL right now (Marion Barber, Laurence Maroney and Thomas Tapeh) than either Ohio State or Michigan? It's all pretty remarkable

It's called the proliferation of bowls and it just goes to show you that defense is still what wins championships

Sumander: I trust your award winning Brats will find their way to Collegeville next weekend.

Thanks your President

Yeah, she-males.  :D

BDB-we're counting on your boys to get it together this weekend and pull off the upset of the season. Tell Todd "good luck" from all his MIAC fans.
