QuoteThe whole Jag/Hamm's thing stems from the fact that, last year, Ritz introduced the idea of a Central Minnesota Martini (a chunk of pickled herring in a Hamm's).  Now, I like herring and I like Hamm's, but let me tell you, the martini is GROSS!  I can only imagine what he's conjured up now.

And just like that, a new 21st birthday drink is added to the pantheon.

Just let me warn you.  You will have to throw away the glass because the smell will not go away.

Where is tmerton?  We haven't heard from him in a while.

MR, how will the Royals drown their sorrows on Saturday night?  Arousing game of "Name That Bible Verse" or what?

I just phoned Steve Johnson and told him to cancel his plans for practicing next week.  They won't need it.

Leave it to Bethel Footballers to get AROUSED by "Name that Bible Verse"!!   ;D
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Will Bethel shock the world? Probably not. Will Hamline beat Augsburg tonight? I hope so for pick'ems sake.

Edit: That seemed like it took me forever to get to 500.

Johnnie Red

Invite still open for the Johnnie Red re-election party tomorrow night on the grounds of the Stiftungsfest celebration in Norwood Young America. Special guests will be TDT and Raiderguy. No appearance by Michele Bachmann or Paris Hilton. :-[

In the event that they lose, I know of at least 10 of them who I will be drinking with

my prediction:

SJU-28
BU-14

SJU's adept use of 40 and 50 fronts, with the addition of their good rush off the edge, once again forces the BU offense to be one-dimensional. Look for frustration to set in and 3 Bethel turnovers. The BU defense on the other hand, plays well for three quarters, keeping them in the game before SJU pulls away in the fourth after keeping the Royal defense on the field for 35 out of the 60 minutes.

I have seen/heard of some nasty drinks.....but that takes the cake....and the thought of the smell lingering makes it SO much worse.

Unlike Johhny football fans, the BU fans don't eat, dream, and breathe Bethel football....

Mighty Royal

Apparrently they just eat, dream, and breathe Chuck Norris...or is that just you! ;) ;D

Just think how much happier BU fans would be if they would eat, dream, and breathe Johnnie football!! :D

That would be like rooting for the Yankees.........I may not be a fanatic when it comes to Bethel, but I'd never give in to the dark side.

Sheesh...

Rough crowd over here.  I guess I'd better stick to the hoops board.  ::) ;)
