Esq is the king of pessimism - he's only giving 7.5 points and Bethel - on the OAC pickems you get Bethel +14.5.   >:(

No snow here on the NW side of the cities and it looks like Collegeville is in the clear.  I hope SJU56321 makes it through the weather just fine!

KR, I saw a clip on the news this morning of a buck that made it's way into a Target in Des Moines!  Pretty funny.

That was about 10 miles from my apartment. I actually recognized the dood that scared the deer and made him slide.

Sad moment of the day:
Saw a big buck in a field beside the road on the way home last night, thick old buck, big wide rack looked like about a 12 pointer/
This morning on the way in to work about 100 yards from where I saw the buck, I saw a deer on the side of the road takin' a nap. I slowed down and pulled over to take a look. I'm about 90% sure it was the same guy, right antler broken clean off, and the left one about half gone and still had 3 points on it.  :'(

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I'm right now watching on ESPN2,  "Honor Roll", a show about the top ten bowl games, and in the background of the studio shots, there's a Linfield jersey hanging on a rack - when the host isn't blocking it.

Also, isn't it a bit pretentious calling it the National Hockey Center. SCS is at the Uof M tonight also.

From Shooter:
QuotePenn State football coach Joe Paterno, who turns 80 next month, is expected to be involved in Saturday's game against Temple, although not coaching, despite suffering a broken leg in a sideline collision last week. A dozen years ago, another legendary football coach, John Gagliardi of St. John's in Collegeville, Minn., broke a leg when hit by a player during a training camp workout. He missed one practice.

"It was tough," Gagliardi, 80, said Thursday, declining to offer recuperative advice to Paterno. "I can't solve Joe's problems; I've got my own problems. I'm the same as Joe; you get older, but that doesn't mean you get less motivated or dedicated."

Two amazing gentlemen and coaches.  How can anybody put a value on their contribution to their respective institutions and to society as a whole!! Let's hope Coach Paterno's reabilitation goes successfully and he gets back on the field quickly.

Touchdown Tommy

Greetings friends.  Coming to you live from Anoka, MN.  Been a very long and stressful travel day.  Long delays at both RSW and ORD because of the inclement weather in these parts forced a much too late arrival tonite.  Glad to be back in Johnnie territory.  First, I must apologize to the Godfather for missing his party.  I considered driving there from the airport a few minutes ago, but decided I better be well rested for the Monkey Stomp tomorrow.

Veek, Ritz, Duffy, JR, 56321 et al: TDT will be in Collegeville with his buddy Dinny at 8am sharp.  Will be bringing a flask of "Hot 100" in my trademark favorite color and hope there will be some warm bevies...

Chasing MILFs since '82...

TDT-
Good to hear you made it back to the Motherland safely.

I had to "adjust" your karma for you, all better now ;)

Mrs. 105 is getting ready with a batch of her famous carmel rolls for tomorrow!

See everyone Saturday morning.

Johnnies will Royal Flush Bethel 42-0...Phone it in 8)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Touchdown Tommy

I'd be remiss if I didn't introduce Dinny to Post Patterns.  He is a 2004 Cobber graduate and current co-worker of notorious MIACPP antagonist Willy Wonka.  TDT is still waiting for his headhunters fee.

105: you go to Stiffyfestivities?  I've only seen you at the games... :o

Prediction: Frank R and Mongo arrive at the festivities at 12:23pm (all the burgers, polish, brats are long gone) after an intense evening of Madden, Mountain Dew, Pounding Pac, and playing "hide the bologna"....

TDT- This is the 2nd game you've been back for this season? We have been to many of Johnnie Red's parties. Dusty SJU & myself usually have most of the world's problems solved before kick-off.

Is your buddy Dinny the reason you are also known as "Cobberhater"?

TDT-
Condelences on the Anoka beating tonight.

Less than 10 hours now for some, most likely 11 for me until the tailgating starts. Delicious burgers, brats, polishs, various wife bakes and the High Life in my BP travel mug...should be a good day. Oh, I forgot the game on the field.

Yeah, it is but there history to it. At the time it was built, it was something like the third Olympic-sized sheet in the country after Lake Placid and the Anchorage arena. They put two there at the urging of Herb Brooks, who coached the program as it went D-1.

Safe travel for all headed to 56321.
Will be in my regular reserved seat.
