I guess it is relatively quiet today because so many of the posters are camped out at the electronics stores in line for PlayStation 3.  :-*

I regret to inform you that I have had some family "stuff" come up for Saturday that have altered my plans for the game.  I will not be in attendance in Pella on Saturday. :'(  Will somebody at least eat one of those Dutch letters for me?  Thanks!

This is going to cause some controversy!  I can't believe this will actually take place!

OJ Simpson wrote a book titled "If I did it"  It goes on sale Nov. 30.

So last night I get this crazy idea to drive to Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart and see if there is anybody "camped" out yet for the PS3 scheduled to debut on Friday.  Thinking it was almost 48 hours til release I'd be pretty close to the front of the line.  Oh contrare my friends, it looked like the Yogi Bear Campground around all these big box retailers.  Now this would have been strictly a business venture/flip on eBay, but it looks like I woulda had to be there since last Sunday or Monday.  Are you kidding me?

Darn right Samwill lives Blue Devil Bob!

In response to Dutch fan, I agree with Johnnie57's answer to the question.  They were sleeping and are not the Johnnies of old, but they are still a good SJU team and have the talent and ability to win a game or two in the playoffs, starting in Iowa on Saturday!  Never bet against the "old old ball coach"in November!

Go Johnnies!

Good to hear that. It would be a given to assume SJU has the talent to win a game or two almost every year. Only problem for them is that the Dutch have the talent to win a game or two as well. Should make for a great one.

I dont think Id be putting my bets agains the young ball coach down here for any time now or in the future ;D

The even bigger pieces of s*** will be the people who buy the books and line his pockets.

Those of you educated lawyer-types on here:  If he was ordered to pay a $33.5 mil settlement, how has he made it this long without paying??  Seems there should be some major repercussions for not paying debts.   And why can't they touch any of his assets?

I don't blame OJ.  It is the American way.  Don't hate the playa, hate the game!!

What assets?

He likely moved them all out of state, and thus California cannot seize assets that aren't in California.  I don't know much about California law, but I can tell you that if he has sold all of his California assets to pay for his legal fees, going back to California with assets is problematic for him.

Sounds like all he has is a Pension (which, apparently, under California law cannot be seized).  If the has a bank account, though, they could levy it, so my guess is he won't be the beneficiary of these funds-- probably a trust however, with he as beneficiary.

I'm not buying his book, nor will I watch the interview-- clearly a media hound, and we'd be paying to support an individual who owes $33 million to other people.
