Anyone who wants an unpostable Anna pic you'll have to PM me.  ;)

I'm sure MR will want to swap you for one of Chuck Norris in his Speedo. :D

Well, he can have the Anna pic for free. No really keep the Chuck Norris pic. It's way too generous!   ;D

BTW, according to MR,  Chuckie has way too much junk in the trunk for a speedo anyway. But I digress.  :D

It does seem like I may have started a trend, however.

We now have 3 posters using hot women as their avatars.

BDB. Always the trend setter.  ;)

I posted this in the WIAC room, but I thought MIAC posters might want to offer an opinion too.

I've always thought the WIAC and MIAC should have an interlocking schedule agreement the way the NCHA and MIAC does in men's hockey.

You could set a rotating schedule for the next nine years to guarantee one WIAC/MIAC matchup and let the teams agree on whether to play in Week 1, 2 or 3 for maximum flexibility.  The MIAC has one extra team so one MIAC team would have to sit out each year.  This would guarantee the WIAC and MIAC at least one non-conference game each year.

Something like this maybe (remember that it's a nine-year rotation and eventually you will play everybody, so don't sweat the match-ups or the home/road assignments):

2008 - (played Week 1, 2 or 3 at the discretion of the schools involved):
Augsburg at UW-Eau Claire
UW-La Crosse at Bethel
Carleton at UW-Oshkosh
UW-Platteville at Concordia
Gustavus at UW-River Falls
UW-Stevens Point at Hamline
St. John's at UW-Stout
UW-Whitewater at St. Olaf
St. Thomas - OFF

2009 - (played Week 1, 2 or 3 at the discretion of the schools involved):
UW-Eau Claire at St. Thomas
UW-La Crosse at Augsburg
Bethel at UW-Oshkosh
UW-Platteville at Carelton
Concordia at UW-River Falls
UW-Stevens Point at Gustavus
Hamline at UW-Stout
UW-Whitewater at St. John's
St. Olaf - OFF

2010 - (played Week 1, 2 or 3 at the discretion of the schools involved):
St. Olaf at UW-Eau Claire
St. Thomas at UW-La Crosse
UW-Oshkosh at Augsburg
Bethel at UW-Platteville
UW-River Falls at Carelton
Concordia at UW-Stevens Point
UW-Stout at Gustavus
Hamline at UW-Whitewater
St. John's - OFF

etc......

I think you get the idea.  I'm sure all the WIAC schools would jump at the chance to lock in one non-conference game for the next 9 years.  I think the top MIAC teams would do it, but it would be a hard sell for the bottom MIAC teams.

I just heard that Bo Schembechler died of a massive heart attack. We all mourn his passing.  :-[

Boy! The lengths some people will go to to fire up their team before a big game.  ;)

Just amazing. That is a perfect motivator. Schembechler was an amazing coach and Michigan will be fired up i'm sure.

Someone should have arranged a cage match between Woody and Bo when they were both in their prime! That would have been a spectacle! :D

Just a thought for the St. Johns travelers making  the trip to Pella this weekend.  If things get crowded in Pella, Oskaloosa is just 15 minutes up the road.  Its probably about the same size as Pella, but will give you guys a few more choices on Friday night .  Des Moines is only 45 minutes from Pella as well and will give you all the emenities of home..  plus the Bars are pretty good...  Good luck tommorow.

Owwww!

I'm working today and despite figuring out what STD a 17 year old guy has and where he got it from, this is the most difficult thing I have tried to comprehend all day!

BTW, his mom is 100% sure her son is a virgin.
PS The answer is Gonorrhea and it was from the homecoming queen. God Bless small town America!

+K funniest thing I have read in some time (ok, more like 3 hours).

What the hell, Nurse, give all the boys a shot of Vitamin k+, make sure to change the needle before and after TDT!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I never understood why Bo didn't have the heart attack after the second time he decided to kick to Rocket.  But then he did seem to have problems with that team.  ;)

RIP, Bo.

KR,

That's a good one. Did you keep a straight face?
Mrs. C sends her aloha.

JR, the people at Jaarsma's will probably be happy to see your face in their bakery again. With the huge selection they have, you may want to pick up some of their other goodies for the tailgate, also.

Here's hoping the Johns and their fans travel safely. No injuries.

I like your idea, but there are practical problems with setting up a 9 year rotation.  The MIAC still awaits Macalester's return to the conference, which, when it occurs, will add another conference game and take away a nonconference game.  This leaves the MIAC with one free nonconference week, which some schools are trying to build local rivalries with.  For example, Concordia plays Moorhead State each year in the Power Bowl, and they're not likely to want to give that up for a WIAC game where they may have to travel to Platteville (a good 9 hour trip from Moorhead).  St. Olaf has played Luther recently, marking a Lutheran battle; UST played Loras, a Catholic battle.  With St. Scholastica adding football, it is likely that they will look (eventually) to add MIAC teams to their schedule as well.

Good idea, but it's not likely to happen over a 9-year rotation.  I could see a 2-year conference affiliation agreement, though.
